Abstract:
A thin film circuit board device includes: a first thin film circuit board having a first protrusion provided with a first conductive contact; a second thin film circuit board having a second protrusion provided with a second conductive contact; and an insulator film disposed between the first and second thin film circuit boards. The first and second protrusions are disposed one above the other. The insulator film is free of a portion that extends between the first and second protrusions. The first and second protrusions are folded together in such a manner that the first and second conductive contacts are brought into contact with each other at the fold thereof.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and system for managing semiconductor manufacturing knowledge. A hierarchy of interests in the semiconductor knowledge including data targets and results is defined. A connectivity relationship diagram to reflect the dependency between the data targets and the results is developed and implemented, so that the semiconductor knowledge is available to any authorized user.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a single-chip USB-to-Ethernet controller that can operate either as a standalone USB-to-Ethernet controller integrated circuit chip in one mode, or the Ethernet PHY or the USB-to-Rev-MII Bridging chip in another mode, namely Dual-PHY mode, to interface with an external Network Microcontroller's Ethernet MAC for providing Ethernet and USB Device interface in a network communication system and to provide a mechanism for auto-detection and auto-selection between the Ethernet interface and USB Device interface through some Station Management Register access wherein the Network Microcontroller's Ethernet MAC can access two PHY devices through the same Station Management Interface.

Abstract:
The present invention discloses a high-brightness light guide plate, which is a plate formed by a transparent resin having a high refractive index. An incident plane is disposed on a lateral side of the light guide plate, and a light emitting plane is disposed on a surface of the light guide plate. A reflective plane is disposed on a backside of light guide plate facing the light emitting plane and the light guide plate has a plurality of cells sunken into the reflective plane to form a diffusion pattern. The light guide plate has a plurality of diffusion points embossed at the light emitting plane, and each diffusion point is disposed on the light emitting plane, such that the manufacturing cost of a light guide plate mold can be lowered by improving the taste and the uniformity.
Abstract:
A light guide plate is adapted for use with at least one light source that is capable of providing source light beams. The light guide plate includes a plate body, and a plurality of light-guiding structures that are distributed on the plate body. Each of the light-guiding structures is in a substantially quadrilateral pyramidal form, and includes a quadrilateral lower end that has four corners, and a tapered upper end that is disposed opposite to the lower end. Each of the light-guiding structures further includes four sides, each of which is defined by the upper end and a corresponding adjacent pair of the corners, adjacent ones of the sides being interconnected.

Abstract:
A method of offline measurement for process tool monitoring applied to semiconductor processes. A self-tuning monitor rule database, storing predefined monitor rules for lot processing is provided. Monitor data related to the lot processing is defined. Desired monitor data is obtained according to selected monitor rules residing in the self-tuning monitor rule database. Offline measurement operations are implemented according to the obtained monitor data using a process tool to generate monitor results. It is determined whether abnormal states exist by comparing the selected monitor rules and monitor data according to the monitor results. If so, the lot processing for the process tool is terminated. If not, the lot processing for the process tool is allowed. A failure notice is sent in response and the selected monitor rules are re-defined to update the self-tuning monitor rule database.
Abstract:
A method and system that provides for near-zero downtime when updating enterprise system software in a client/server environment and elimination of the need to re-compile the client code with a new server component name as the new name can be addressed in a naming service. Client components will automatically connect to new-version enterprise server components that are backward compatible. Old-version client components will still work as new enterprise server components are deployed even if they are not backward compatible. Using a design with a step algorithm, the incompatibilities of client and enterprise server components are resolved. Client components automatically check a configuration file at initialization time or in parallel for the correct compatible version to use. Client rollback to the previous version is easily accomplished if bugs are found in the new deployment.
