Abstract:
The present invention provides a measurement method capable of measuring a physical property value of light output based on a pixel value at any coordinates in an original image. According to the present invention, provided is a measurement method including a display control step of displaying a patch image generated based on a pixel value at target coordinates in the original image, on a display screen at patch display coordinates different from the target coordinates; and a measurement control step of measuring the physical property value of the light from the patch image displayed on the display screen.
Abstract:
Provided is an image display system that allows many persons to use multiple monitors without feeling color differences between the monitors. An image display system for displaying images on display devices includes multiple display devices, a spectral data acquisition unit, a candidate color matching function acquisition unit, a color difference calculation unit, and a color matching function selection unit. The spectral data acquisition unit is configured to acquire spectral data of the display devices. The candidate color matching function acquisition unit is configured to acquire multiple selection candidate color matching functions that are candidate color matching functions that may be selected by the color matching function selection unit. The color difference calculation unit is configured to calculate color differences between the display devices with respect to each of the selection candidate color matching functions using the spectral data. The color matching function selection unit is configured to select a color matching function that reduces color differences in appearance for many observers, from the selection candidate color matching functions on the basis of the calculated color differences.
Abstract:
A display light measurement method which can measure color representation of a various types of display devices regardless of the specification of the display device; a computer program, and a measurement system. A measurement device connected to an optical sensor can communicate with a target display device (information terminal) to be measured. The measurement device transmits content including a color patch to the display device to cause the display device to display the content and performs a measurement on the displayed content using the optical sensor. To perform measurements on many color patches, the measurement device repeats the following: when a measurement on one color patch being displayed is complete, the measurement device transmits content including another color patch to the display device to cause the display device to display the content and performs a measurement on the content being displayed.
Abstract:
Provided are a color conversion method, gradation value correction device, computer program, and display device that can reproduce small gradation changes between lattice points, as well as can reduce accuracy degradation caused by interpolation. Dividing one of input gradations and output gradations of gradation characteristics, indicating input/output gradation characteristics reproduced in a second conversion unit, into gradation segments having predetermined gradation intervals. Then, correcting each of the gradation values of the other gradations of the gradation characteristics so that gradation intervals of the other gradations become intervals corresponding to the predetermined gradation intervals. The first conversion unit then converts the gradation values of an image using the corrected gradation values.
