Abstract: A vehicle control device includes an information acquirer that acquires information on driving conditions of a vehicle at least containing a steering angle and a vehicle speed, a distribution amount setter that sets a distribution amount of a brake force to each of multiple wheels provided in the vehicle based on the driving conditions of the vehicle; and a brake controller that performs brake control of each of the multiple wheels according to the distribution amount set by the distribution amount setter. When the vehicle speed is equal to or lower than a 22nd vehicle speed value within a low vehicle speed range, the distribution amount setter sets the distribution amount of a brake force to each of the multiple wheels including a specific wheel to a value which is smaller than a distribution amount when the vehicle speed exceeds the 22nd vehicle speed value.

Abstract: The vehicle control system includes a braking force generating device (6, 22) configured to generate a braking force to shift a load of a vehicle to a side of front wheels thereof at an initial stage of a cornering, and a control device (31) configured to control the braking force generated by the braking force generating device. The control device calculates an additional deceleration (Gxadd) according to vehicle state information, calculates a lateral jerk equivalent value (Jy) according to the vehicle state information, and sets a lateral jerk correction coefficient (Kj) for weakening the additional deceleration. The control device corrects the additional deceleration by the lateral jerk correction coefficient (K), and calculates an additional braking force (Fbadd) to be generated by the braking force generating device according to the corrected additional deceleration.

Abstract: A behavior stabilizer of a vehicle braking force control device includes a plurality of first valves configured to control movement of a hydraulic fluid to respective friction brakes, second valves configured to control the movement of the hydraulic fluid to reservoirs, and a drive motor configured to drive pumps that pump the hydraulic fluid from the reservoirs into a path leading to a hydraulic pressure generator. When a vehicle is in a state of turning at a specific vehicle speed or lower, a controller executes a turning control to control operation of an electric actuator to cause the hydraulic pressure generator to generate hydraulic pressure, and to control open/closed states of the first valves and the second valves to apply a braking force to a plurality of wheels. The controller keeps the driving of the drive motor in a stopped state during the turning control.

Abstract: A vehicle behavior control method is suitable for a vehicle behavior control device. The vehicle behavior control device includes: a lateral acceleration sensor, detecting lateral acceleration occurring in a vehicle body; a wheel speed sensor, detecting a wheel speed of a wheel; a steering angle sensor, detecting a steering angle of the wheel; a steering angle lateral acceleration calculation unit, calculating steering angle lateral acceleration from the wheel speed and the steering angle; and a yaw moment control unit, applying yaw moment to the vehicle body. In the vehicle behavior control method, when the lateral acceleration and the steering angle lateral acceleration meet a predetermined condition, a yaw moment directed inward in a turning direction of the vehicle body is applied by the yaw moment control unit.
