Abstract: A nanofiber sheet includes: a substrate layer; and a nanofiber layer located on one surface side of the substrate layer and containing nanofibers of a polymer compound. A peripheral edge of the nanofiber layer has a thickness of from 0.1 to 10 μm. The nanofiber layer includes a gradation region having a thickness that gradually increases inward from the peripheral edge. The distance W1 between the peripheral edge of the nanofiber layer and a maximum thickness portion where the thickness becomes the greatest in the gradation region is at least 3 mm. A nanofiber sheet manufacturing method involves depositing nanofibers onto a collecting unit by moving at least either a nozzle or the collecting unit, to thereby manufacture a predetermined nanofiber sheet including a gradation region.

Abstract: A method for producing a film of the present invention includes the step of electrostatically spraying a liquid composition directly on the surface of skin using an electrostatic spray device to form a film on the skin. The electrostatic spray device includes a container capable of storing the liquid composition, a nozzle configured to eject the liquid composition, a power supply configured to apply a voltage to the nozzle, and a voltage stabilizer configured to stabilize the voltage applied by the power supply to the nozzle. The liquid composition contains component (a): one or more volatile substances selected from alcohols and ketones, and component (b): a polymer having film formability.

Abstract: A hair holder (1) includes a tubular body (2) that is constituted by a sheet and through which a bundle of hair can be inserted from an opening (21) at a one end toward an opening (22) at the other end, and has a flat shape. The tubular body (2) includes a first surface sheet (23A) and a second surface sheet (23B) that are located on the inside and the outside, respectively, in a state in which the hair holder (1) is rolled up. Side regions of the first surface sheet (23A) and side regions of the second surface sheet (23B) are joined to each other, thereby forming a pair of side joined regions (24) in the tubular body (2). The side joined regions (24) have a plurality of second-surface-sheet-side recesses (25) along a longitudinal direction (X) of the side joined regions (24), the recesses being recessed from the second surface sheet (23B) side toward the first surface sheet (23A) side.

Abstract: A hair holder (1) of the present invention includes a tubular body (2) and a fixing member (5). The tubular body (2) has a first surface sheet (23A) and a second surface sheet (23B). The second surface sheet (23B) has a plurality of slits (25) that extends in a width direction and that is intermittently arranged along a longitudinal direction. The fixing member (5) has a first member (5a) and second members (5b) that can be detachably joined together. The first member (5a) is arranged on the first surface sheet (23A) on the side of a first opening (21) located at a first end in the longitudinal direction. The second surface sheet (23B) has a central region (M) in the width direction, where the plurality of slits is provided, and a pair of side regions (S) each of which is located on opposite sides of the central region (M). The second members (5b) are arranged in the pair of side regions (S), respectively, so as to extend in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: The present invention relates to preventing color transfer and sticking of powder-containing cosmetics to clothes or the like. A coating formation method of the present invention includes an electrostatic spraying step of electrostatically spraying a composition directly onto a skin surface onto which powder-containing cosmetics have been applied, thereby forming a coating on the skin. The composition contains a component (a) and a component (b) below. It is preferable that the method further includes a liquid agent applying step of applying a liquid agent containing one or more selected from water and oils that are in liquid form at 20° C. on the skin onto which the powder-containing cosmetics have been applied, wherein the liquid agent applying step is performed subsequent to the electrostatic spraying step. (a) One or more volatile substances selected from water, alcohols, and ketones; and (b) a polymer having a coating formation ability.

Abstract: A fiber collection tool for collecting a fiber spun by electrospinning is described. The fiber collection tool has a size holdable by the hand of a user, and includes, in its interior, an electroconductive section. Preferably, the fiber collection tool further includes a surface section outside the electroconductive section. In a fiber deposit production method, a user collects, with the fiber collection tool, a fiber spun by the user by performing electrospinning using an electrospinning device having a size holdable by the hand of the user, and thereby produces a film including a deposit of the fiber on a surface of the fiber collection tool. The fiber collection tool, having the deposit formed thereon, is pressed against a surface of an object, and the deposit is transferred onto the surface of the object, to form a film including the fiber deposit on the surface of the object.

Abstract: The present invention provides a coating formation method with which adhesion between skin and a coating formed by electrostatic spraying is enhanced. The coating formation method of the present invention includes a liquid agent applying step of applying a liquid agent containing one or more selected from water, polyols and oils that are in a liquid form at 20° C., and an electrostatic spraying step of electrostatically spraying a composition directly on skin to form a coating. The liquid agent applying step and the electrostatic spraying step are performed in this order or in a reversed order. The composition includes a component (a) and a component (b) below: (a) one or more volatile substances selected from the group consisting of water, alcohols, and ketones, and (b) a polymer having a coating formation ability.

Abstract: A method for producing ultrafine fibers of the present invention includes forming an electric field between an discharging nozzle from which a raw resin is discharged and a charging electrode which is disposed apart from the discharging nozzle, and supplying the raw resin which has been heated and melted into the electric field from the discharging nozzle to spin the raw resin. The raw resin is a resin mixture which contains a resin having a melting point and an additive, and satisfies a relation (I) below: A/B≥1.0×102 (I) wherein A represents the absolute value (Ω) of electrical impedance of the raw resin at 50° C., and B represents the absolute value (Ω) of electrical impedance of the raw resin at a temperature 50° C. higher than a melting point of the raw resin.
