    Abstract: A communication system includes a first edge device that obtains timing information at a first time instant from a radio access network (RAN) node or a central cloud server. The timing information is indicative of a unique system frame number or a sub-frame of the unique system frame number that is to be received at the first edge device. The first edge device detects the unique system frame number or the sub-frame of the unique system frame number at a second time instant. The first edge device executes a switching event in which a new communication link is established with a second edge device neighboring the first edge device. The new communication link corresponds to a change triggered in a mesh network to maintain a continuity in uplink and downlink communication between one or more UEs and the RAN node via the mesh network.

The central cloud server further elects the determined dominant edge device from the first edge device and the second edge device to service one or more user equipment (UEs) in the vehicle, which improves performance in terms of data throughput and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of one or more UEs present in the vehicle by effectively controlling cooperation between two edge devices arranged in the vehicle.

    Abstract: An electronic training system includes external response sensors that detect and measure changes on the user's body, internal response sensors that measure internal changes within the user's body, a stimulus device, and control circuitry. The control circuitry tracks data from the response sensors and stimulus device to evaluate and provide feedback on the user's sports performance, receives input regarding the user's current and target sports performance states, retrieves relevant stimuli from a sports knowledge database, determines a set of test stimuli specific to the user, and controls the stimulus device to provide these stimuli. The circuitry further establishes associative relationship between each stimulus-response pair and the second set of responses, determines a plurality of causes of similarity and variability based on the established associative relationship, and calibrates the stimulus parameters based on the user's responses, current performance state and target performance state.
