Abstract:
A spray nozzle for electrostatic spraying of a coating product including a needle forming a mobile shutter of a valve for controlling the spraying, which is positioned in a recess of a barrel of the nozzle. The recess defines a surface for guiding the axial translation of the needle along a longitudinal axis of the recess. The needle includes a front shaped for abutting a seat to obstruct a duct for flow of the coating product, a rear portion which interacts with means for controlling the translation of the needle and a central portion comprised between the front end and the rear portion, while a high-voltage unit included in the nozzle is capable of applying a high-voltage to the front end of the needle. A raised portion provided on the central portion of the needle, inside the recess, can increase the electric creepage distance along the central portion.
Abstract:
This atomizer makes it possible to spray a lubricant product along a spraying axis and comprises a first passage for the product which is centered on the spraying axis, a nozzle which is centered on the spraying axis, and a core which is disposed coaxially inside the nozzle. The atomizer also comprises a second passage for ejecting a first jet of air, which is arranged around the first passage in a peripheral direction with respect to the spraying axis and which, in operation, confers a helical direction on the first jet of air. In addition, the first passage is defined between the core and the nozzle and is formed by a plurality of separate passage sections.
Abstract:
An apparatus for electrostatically spraying a coating product. The apparatus includes a sprayer with first and second pipes which control the flow of the coating product. Air is controlled by at least one valve. The sprayer includes a device for controlling the opening/closing of the valve, a high voltage unit. A generator includes a module for controlling power supplied to the high voltage unit. The sprayer includes a first sensor suitable for detecting the position of a shutter of the valve relative to a seat and for outputting a signal used by the control module to control the power supplied to the high voltage unit, and a second sensor suitable for detecting the position of a switch positioned on the spray gun and for outputting a signal used by the control module to control the power supply of the high voltage unit.
