    Abstract: There is provided a head chip and so on capable of achieving the reduction in power consumption and the improvement in print image quality while suppressing the manufacturing cost of the head chip. The head chip according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes an actuator plate having a plurality of ejection grooves and a plurality of electrodes, a nozzle plate having a plurality of nozzle holes, and a cover plate having a wall part, a first through hole, and a second through hole. The plurality of nozzle holes includes a plurality of first nozzle holes arranged so as to be shifted toward the first through hole, and a plurality of second nozzle holes arranged so as to be shifted toward the second through hole. In a first ejection groove communicated with the first nozzle hole, a first cross-sectional area of a part communicated with the first through hole is smaller than a second cross-sectional area of a part communicated with the second through hole. Positions of both ends of the electrode along the extending direction of the ejection grooves are each aligned in the plurality of electrodes along a predetermined direction.

    Abstract: There are provided a head chip and so on capable of improving the print image quality while suppressing the manufacturing cost. The head chip according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes an actuator plate having a plurality of ejection grooves, a nozzle plate having a plurality of nozzle holes, and a cover plate having a first through hole, a second through hole, and a wall part. The plurality of nozzle holes includes a plurality of first nozzle holes arranged so as to be shifted toward the first through hole, and a plurality of second nozzle holes arranged so as to be shifted toward the second through hole. In a first ejection groove communicated with the first nozzle hole, a first cross-sectional area of a part communicated with the first through hole is smaller than a second cross-sectional area of a part communicated with the second through hole. In a second ejection groove communicated with the second nozzle hole, the second cross-sectional area is smaller than the first cross-sectional area. A first expansion flow channel part is formed in the vicinity of the first nozzle hole, and a second expansion flow channel part is formed in the vicinity of the second nozzle hole. A central position of the first expansion flow channel part coincides with a first central position of the first nozzle hole, or is shifted toward the first through hole. A central position of the second expansion flow channel part coincides with a second central position of the second nozzle hole, or is shifted toward the second through hole.

    Abstract: A jet parameter generation system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a data acquisition section, and a parameter generation section for generating a predetermined jet parameter, using a predetermined analytical method of taking a predetermined input parameter as an explanatory variable and taking a predetermined jet parameter as an objective variable. The parameter generation section determines which one of a first standard for setting a voltage value with which a drop volume of the liquid to be a reference is obtained and a second standard for setting a voltage value with which an ejection speed of the liquid to be a reference is obtained is to be selected, selects a first explanatory variable group when determining to select the first standard, while selecting a second explanatory variable group when determined to select the second standard, and uses the predetermined analytical method using just selected one of the first explanatory variable group and the second explanatory variable group to thereby generate the predetermined jet parameter.

    Abstract: Provided herein is a method for manufacturing a jet hole plate that can improve ejection stability and head durability. A method for manufacturing a jet hole plate according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a punching step of pressing a first principal surface of a metal substrate with a punch to form an indentation in the first principal surface, and to form a raised portion in a second principal surface of the metal substrate at a position opposite to the indentation; a first polishing step of removing the raised portion by mechanical polishing to penetrate the metal substrate at the indentation to thereby form a jet hole; and a second polishing step of polishing at least one of the first principal surface and the second principal surface of the metal substrate by chemical polishing, electrolytic polishing, or chemical-mechanical polishing.
