    Abstract: A composition including: —at least one silane group-containing polymer with a silicon content ranging from 0.6 to 2 wt. %, obtained by reacting at least one isocyanate group-containing polymer and at least one amino-, mercapto-, or hydroxysilane, —at least one liquid epoxy resin, and—at least one polyamine with at least three amine hydrogens which are reactive towards epoxy groups. The composition facilitates adhesives, coatings, or sealing compounds with a good storage stability, a fast curing time, even in the event of moisture or humidity, a surprisingly high degree of strength while having a high degree of elasticity, a high degree of resistance against further tearing, a high degree of resistance in particular against glycol/water mixtures, and a high degree of adhesion to many substrates. When used on metals such as steel or aluminum, the composition protects same against corrosion.

    Abstract: A moisture-curable composition, including between 0.6 and 15.0 wt.-% of at least one organic polymer containing reactive silane groups, between 70 and 95 wt.-% of at least one filler, at least one dispersion additive, optionally at least one catalyst for the curing of silane-functional polymers and up to 10 wt.-% of at least one plasticizer, characterized in that said filler is selected from the list consisting of aluminium oxide, aluminium hydroxide, boron nitride, aluminium nitride, zinc oxide, silver, copper, aluminium, chalk, aluminosilicate, graphite, and any mixture of these fillers; with the proviso that the amount of chalk in the filler does not exceed 25 wt.-% of the total amount of filler. The moisture-curable composition shows excellent thermal conductivity and is particularly suitable as adhesive, gap filler, or sealant suitable for e-coat applications and battery bonding especially in electric automobile assembly.

    Abstract: A two-component composition for use as a free-radically curing adhesive for bonding of corner angles, frames or profiles in window, door, container or vehicle construction. The composition is composed of a component K1 and a component K2. The composition contains at least 50% by weight, preferably between 60% by weight and 75% by weight, of filler based on the mixture of the components K1 and K2. The compositions have good mechanical properties and adhesion to substrates employed in these applications, they additionally have a low viscosity and they can be formulated without volatile, strongly malodorous monomers such as MMA.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyol composition consisting of a first component and a second component, wherein the first component contains a polyol having had OH functionality in the range from 1.5 to 4 and an average molecular weight in the range from 250 to 15'000 g/mol, a diol having at least two hydroxyl groups joined via a C2 to C9 carbon chain, and a compound having at least one thiol group. In addition, one of the two components additionally comprises at least one metal catalyst for the reaction of hydroxyl groups and isocyanate groups which is capable of forming thio complexes, and where the molar ratio of all NCO groups of the polyisocyanates I to all OH groups of the polyols=0.9:1-1.4:1, especially 1.05:1-1.3:1, and where the composition contains, in at least one of the two components, between 3% and 25% by weight, based on the overall composition, of at least one type of microscopic hollow beads, wherein the microscopic hollow beads have a compressive strength, measured to ASTM D3102-72, of at least 10 MPa and a density of at least 0.2 kg/L, and wherein the composition contains, in at least one of the two components, between 2.5% and 7.5% by weight, based on the overall composition, of at least one desiccant, wherein the desiccant is an aluminosilicate.
    Such a composition permits arbitrary adjustment of the open time within particular limits, and enables achievement of long open times with subsequent very rapid curing of the composition. The composition of the invention has excellent strength and hardness, and is grindable without difficulty. The composition of the invention is particularly suitable as filling compound, especially for wood.
