Abstract:
The invention relates to an application unit for an application device, in particular an application gun for applying gel-like and/or paste-like compositions, having an output unit for dispensing the compositions, a connection element, such as a cover, for connecting the output unit to the main body of the application device, and a closure element, wherein the closure element is rotatable around an axis of rotation with respect to the connection element and the output unit for fastening the output unit on the connection element and for detaching the output unit from the connection element, wherein a lifting unit is formed and arranged in such a way that the output unit is lifted by a rotation of the closure element.
Abstract:
A driving device of a metering and mixing apparatus for multi-component substances is disclosed, which driving device has at least two cartridge holders for holding interchangeable cartridges, a discharging apparatus for the simultaneous discharging of the substance components from the cartridges by discharging pistons entering the cartridge holder or cartridges, where at least one discharging piston has a thread which can generate a forward propulsion of the discharging piston, and a mixing apparatus for discharging the substance components in mixed form. A transmission unit connects a drive motor, and a spindle-like discharging rod of the discharging piston is provided with the thread, a rear part of the longitudinal extent of which discharging rod has a spiral-toothed, non-self-locking spindle section, and at a front end of which has an engagement element for engaging in the discharging piston.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to an assembly for pressing a pasty or fluid substance out of a film bag of a substantially cylindrical basic form. The film bag is or can be accommodated in a cylindrical receptacle having a circular inner cross-section A. The film bag inserted into the cylindrical receptacle is supported at a proximal end of the cylindrical receptacle against a closing cap that closes off the cylindrical receptacle at an end of the cylindrical receptacle. Coupling devices are provided on the cylindrical receptacle and/or the closing cap, which coupling devices ensure that the inner cross-section A of the cylindrical receptacle overlaps with an inner cross-section B of the closing cap within a tolerance relative to the wall thickness W of the closing cap on the distal side of the closing cap facing the cylindrical receptacle.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for filling a joint with an adhesive and/or sealing material. The method can include: a) positioning a first part, such as an insert, and a second part, such as a frame, so that the first and second parts form the joint; b) introducing a movable spacer into the joint; c) positioning a nozzle element over the joint; d) displacing the nozzle element along the joint such that the nozzle element strikes against the spacer and moves the latter forwards; and e) discharging the adhesive and/or sealing material out of an exit nozzle of the nozzle element during step d).
Abstract:
An application system is disclosed for two-component materials, and can include a moisture-reactive composition accommodated in a first packaging unit, a hardener component accommodated in a second packaging unit and a dynamic mixer configured for insertion into an applicator and to be driven by the applicator.
Abstract:
In the case of a structural glass element with a plastic-coated glass panel and at least one assembly element attached hereon, the glass panel is coated in particular with a silicone-based elastomer across its entire surface, and the coating at the same time creates an adhesive joint with one section of the assembly element supported on the glass panel.
Abstract:
A method for adhesively bonding two substrates, including the steps: (a) applying a liquid, radiation-curable primer composition onto the surface of a first substrate; (b) curing the liquid, radiation-curable primer composition by applying radiation with a suitable wavelength, intensity and temporal exposure such that the radiation-curable primer composition is cured into a solidified, coherent or interrupted layer adhering to the surface of the substrate; (c) optionally storing the primed substrate for a time of up to 6 months; (d) applying a curable adhesive composition onto the cured primer composition on the substrate; (e) joining a second substrate to the adhesive composition on the first substrate such that an adhesive bond is formed between the substrates, wherein the surface of the second substrate to be adhesively bonded is optionally pre-treated to improve adhesion before step (e) is performed; (f) curing the curable adhesive composition.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to an adapter piece for an application device for multicomponent materials, including multicomponent adhesives or multicomponent sealants. The application device has at least one first cartridge receiving device for receiving a first replaceable cartridge containing a first material component, at least one second cartridge receiving device for receiving a second replaceable cartridge containing a second material component, at least one discharging device for discharging the material components out of the cartridges through cartridge outlets, and at least one mixing device for mixing and discharging the material components. A second cartridge receiving area includes a relief chamber such that a material component exiting the second cartridge first fills the relief chamber before entering the mixing device.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a nozzle element for introducing a liquid, in particular an adhesive material and/or a sealing material, into a joint, having an outlet opening, wherein at least one cushion-like bulged covering element is provided, which encompasses the outlet opening at least sectionally, in particular entirely, such that during the introduction, areas of the joint and/or joint edges adjacent to the outlet opening are covered.
