Abstract:
A discharge device capable of suppressing pressure fluctuation of a compressed gas supplied to a container in which a liquid material is stored. The device includes a storage container in which a liquid material is stored; a discharge port through which the liquid material is discharged; a pressure control valve that adjusts a pressure of a compressed gas supplied from an external compressed gas source to a desired level; a discharge valve that establishes or cuts off communication between the pressure control valve and the storage container; a control device that controls operation of the discharge valve; a first flow line connecting the pressure control valve and the discharge valve; and a second flow line connecting the discharge valve and the storage container. The device further includes a third flow line branched from the first flow line, and a leak mechanism connected to the third flow line.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus, devices and systems for mixing and dispensing multi-component materials. The mixing and dispensing may be performed using a mobile, enclosed dispenser that can be used to supply a mixed multi-component material at the point of use. In some embodiments, the components to be mixed into the multi-component material may be supplied in cartridges.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a caulking gun for dispensing viscous material comprising a stock a cartridge keep a push rod longitudinally moveably mounted in the stock provided at its one end with a plunger which engages the piston of a cartridge placed in the cartridge keep, means for engaging the push rod to advance it, brake means hinged to the stock and provided with a clearance hole for engaging the push rod such that the push rod is moveable in a direction advancing the push rod towards the cartridge and is held in a direction retreating the push rod from the cartridge, which brake means are arranged to travel to a first position relative to the stock as the push rod advances and to a second position as the push rod retreats thereby defining the retreat of the push rod, the brake means being inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and adjusting means for varying the retreat of the push rod. In order to provide an adjustable caulking gun with at least two different levels of retreat of the push rod giving the user easily a visual feedback of the chosen retreat of the push rod, it is proposed according to the present invention that the adjusting means are configured as a rotatable wheel with a slope, the rotatable wheel being positioned on the axis of the push rod between the stock and the brake means, the distance between the highest point of the slope and the brake means defining the retreat of the push rod. This rotatable wheel allows the user to select the level of retreat of the push rod by turning the wheel between a first position with no retreat of the push rod and a second position with a maximum retreat of the push rod resulting in a anti-drip behavior of the caulking gun.
Abstract:
A dispensing container apparatus having a tubular container with a bottom end and a rotatable annular upper end connected to a tubular shaft, and a compression member associated with the tubular shaft which causes a material disposed within the containment region to communicate into the tubular shaft or into a containing area upon rotation of the rotatable annular upper end. A brush applicator removably fits into an open end of the tubular shaft for receiving paste to be dispensed via brush application. Also, the container apparatus includes a top member having paste-access holes sized and adapted to closely receive different threaded shaft sizes of fasteners. In one form, the top member is partially rotatable for closing the holes, and then further rotatable for moving the piston (and hence paste) within the container.
Abstract:
A caulking gun may have a tip cutter mechanism that is supported to the body of the caulking gun and that has a blade with a cutting edge. When the dispensing tip of a caulk tube is properly positioned with respect to the body, the blade may be moved with respect to the body to contact the dispensing tip with the cutting edge and cut the dispensing tip of the caulk tube to adjust the amount of caulk material that is dispensed.
Abstract:
A dispensing assembly for dispensing a liquid food product includes a flexible pouch received within a dispenser. An actuating structure within the dispenser exerts a force on the flexible pouch to dispense the food product through a cover member having one or more product openings. A portion of the flexible pouch is folded over an external portion of a cover secured to the dispenser and an attachment collar is secured thereto by a threaded connections. The dispenser can be used with different types of flexible pouches and can dispense food product through multiple openings.
Abstract:
A nozzle for a caulking gun incorporates a resilient portion that is compressed when the trigger of the caulking gun is actuated and resumes its former shape when the trigger is released to expand the internal volume of the nozzle. In one embodiment a resiliently compressible insert is mounted within a conventional nozzle and the insert has a hollow body which has an inlet facing the nozzle inlet and an outlet facing the nozzle outlet and the outlet of the compressible insert is of larger diameter than the inlet of the compressible portion. In another embodiment the nozzle incorporates a resiliently compressible folded flange extending radially of the body portion adjacent to the inlet of the nozzle.
Abstract:
A dispenser for a liquid or semi-solid material includes a container having a valve element at one end and a piston at the other. The valve element includes central and annular portions, the annular portion forming a good seal with the interior of the container and the central portion having a plurality of resilient flaps forming a valve. The dispenser is easily assembled because the valve element may be placed in the container without special tools or retaining structure, and the valve element is retained in place by the material. The valve element includes an annular sealing portion that flexes outwardly against the interior wall of the container during dispensing of the material. The central portion having the flaps is relatively thick to provide good restoring power to the flaps, and it is recessed from the front wall of the valve to provide space for the flaps to open when the valve is in contact with the front wall of the container.
Abstract:
A glue gun includes a triggering mechanism which is formed of a push piece, an action piece, a control lever, a retaining piece, and a release knob. As the action piece is activated by the control lever, and the push piece is actuated by the action piece to push an activation rod to move toward a glue container. When the release knob is activated, the activation rod is released by the retaining piece so as to be forced by the spring force of a recovery spring to move away from the glue container.
Abstract:
The manually operated dispensing device for a double dispensing cartridge comprises a double thrust ram having a toothing and a drive means which is actuated by a trigger lever and which jointly acts on the double thrust ram, this drive means having a drive member which acts via a toothing on the toothing of the double thrust ram, an arc compensating element being arranged between the drive member and the trigger lever. The drive member is guided in such a manner that it is able to make a linear motion during its advance stroke but no swivelling or tilting motion but can make a swivelling motion for disengaging the double thrust ram or for the return stroke movement of the drive member, the arc compensating element for the trigger lever being a compensating link, pivotably connected at its one end to the trigger lever above its fulcrum by a first fulcrum pin and at its other end to the drive member by a second fulcrum pin. Due to the absence of relative motions between the teeth during the advance motion as well as achieving favorable force impact points, thus avoiding undue jamming and tilting moments, resulting in decreased frictional losses, the device has a high mechanical efficiency and optimizes the dispensing volume per stroke in one of its versions.
