Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for refining waste plastic pyrolysis oil, the method including: a first step of mixing a dechlorinating solution containing a polar aprotic solvent and water and waste plastic pyrolysis oil to form a mixed oil; a second step of allowing the mixed oil in the first step to stand and separating the dechlorinating solution located at a lower portion to obtain pre-treated waste plastic pyrolysis oil; a third step of performing a dechlorination reaction by hydrotreating the pre-treated waste plastic pyrolysis oil in the second step at a first temperature in the presence of a hydrotreating catalyst; and a fourth step of performing a denitrification reaction by hydrotreating a product produced in the third step at a second temperature in the presence of a hydrotreating catalyst.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for producing synthetic fuel from water and carbon dioxide. The method includes the operations of (a) preparing water-derived hydrogen, (b) preparing carbon dioxide, (c) introducing the hydrogen and carbon dioxide into a first reaction to produce a first product comprising synthesis gas, (d) introducing the synthesis gas into a second reaction to produce a second product comprising syncrude, (e) dividing the syncrude oil into a plurality of fractions comprising a first fraction, (f) introducing at least one fraction of the plurality of fractions into a hydrogenation reaction to produce a third product, and (g) recovering a fraction corresponding to a boiling point range of the first fraction from the third product. The present disclosure also provides an aviation fuel produced by the method.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of making activated EU-2 zeolite, including: pores having a diameter of 30 to 40 Å while maintaining the crystal structure of the EU-2 zeolite; and pores having a diameter of 40 to 200 Å, wherein the volume of the pores having a diameter of 30 to 40 Å is 0.01 to 0.06 cc/g, and the volume of the pores having a diameter of 40 to 200 Å is 0.07 to 0.4 cc/g.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a zeolite catalyst having an MRE structure for hydro-isomerization. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a method of hydro-isomerization for a hydrocarbon feedstock, including subjecting the hydrocarbon feedstock to a hydro-isomerization reaction under conditions of a temperature of 200° C. to 500° C., a hydrogen pressure of 1 to 200 atmospheres, a liquid space velocity (LHSV) of 1.0 to 10.0 hr−1, and the hydrogen/feedstock ratio of 45 to 1780 Nm3/m3 in the presence of the zeolite catalyst.
