    Abstract: The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program as well as an interchangeable lens that make it possible to easily obtain an image of a plurality of visual points. A communication section receives, when an interchangeable lens including monocular lenses that are plural lenses arranged so as not to overlap with each other in an optical axis direction is mounted on a camera main body that includes an image sensor, known reference positions that are positions on a captured image on which a predetermined imaging target imaged by the image sensor appears, the positions corresponding to predetermined rays of light on monocular images corresponding to figures formed from rays of light focused by the monocular lenses. A reference position calculation section determines unknown reference positions on the basis of the known reference positions. The present technology can be applied to a camera system for capturing an image.

    Abstract: A biometrics authentication system having a small and simple configuration and being capable of implementing both of biometrics authentication and position detection is provided.     Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a program, and an interchangeable lens each capable of appropriately correcting shading of an image having a plurality of viewpoints. A communication unit receives shading information associated with shading of each of a plurality of ommatidium images that are included in a captured image acquired by one image sensor and correspond to images formed by lights respectively concentrated by a plurality of ommatidium lenses that are a plurality of lenses so disposed as not to overlap with each other in an optical axis direction and are included in an interchangeable lens when the interchangeable lens is fitted to a camera body including the image sensor. A correction unit corrects shading of each of the plurality of ommatidium images that are included in the captured image acquired by the image sensor and respectively correspond to the plurality of ommatidium lenses on the basis of the shading information. For example, the present technology is applicable to a camera system or the like which captures an image.

    Abstract: There is provided an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that make it possible to appropriately perform an image process of images of a plurality of visual points. A saturated pixel restoration section restores a pixel value of each saturated pixel whose pixel value is saturated from among pixels of images of a plurality of visual points picked up in a predetermined exposure time period, and a processing section performs an image process of the images of the plurality of visual points with regard to which the pixel value of each saturated pixel is restored. The present technology can be applied to an image process of images of a plurality of visual points such as a light field technology for reconstructing, for example, images picked up using various optical lenses from images of a plurality of visual points or a like technology.
