A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a layer of thermoplastic resin wherein the substrate is provided with a plurality of perforations through its thickness wherein each perforation is surrounded by a burr which is substantially flattened is provided. One useful example of the film is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive.There is also provided a process for producing a film comprising the steps of:Step (A): press protrusions provided on a surface of a roller against a substrate comprising a layer of thermoplastic resin to open a plurality of perforations in the substrate; andStep (B): subjecting the substrate, obtained by Step (A), which has a plurality of perforations to a heat treatment while pressing. The process may have a further step of applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive to at least one surface of the substrate obtained in Step (B).

To provide a hardenable pressure-sensitive adhesive film which is excellent in cuttability and permits excellent shearing such as punching or perforating without adhesive spew.[Means for Solving Problems] A hardenable pressure-sensitive adhesive film (1), characterized by being produced by laminating an isotropic support sheet (11) made of a resin which exhibits lengthwise and widthwise shear strengths of 2 to 2000 g [200 mm/min 25 mm width], preferably 5 to 1000 g, still preferably 10 to 500 g in the thickness range of 2 to 60 [mu]m with a face sheet (12) made of a resin-base pressure-sensitive adhesive. In the film (1), the face sheet(s) (12) may be present on either or both sides of the support sheet (11).

Provided is a transparent complex conductive polymer elastomer composition that maintains electromagnetic-wave shielding performance and that has a favorable light transmittance. The composition is a transparent elastomer provided in the immediate vicinity of a viewer's side of a display unit, the transparent elastomer being composed of a conductive particle complex and a non-conductive organic polymer 13, the conductive particle complex being composed of a large number of conductive metal particles 11 and a conductive organic polymer 12 that covers the metal particles 11 and that cross-links the large number of conductive metal particles to form a three-dimensional mesh structure, and the non-conductive organic polymer 13 serving as a binder for maintaining the three-dimensional structure of the conductive particle complex.

An adhesive film with excellent cuttability with respect to both a base layer and a surface layer or layers laminated thereon is provided, without significant formation of adhesive burrs in various shearing processes. The adhesive film includes a support member and an adhesive layer laminated on at least one side of the support member. The adhesive layer has a laminate structure having a base layer made of a resin-based adhesive and laminated on the surface of the support member and a surface layer made of a resin-based adhesive and laminated on the base layer. The base layer is non-directional and has lengthwise and widthwise shearing strengths of 2 g to 2000 g [200 mm/min, 25 mm] in the thickness range of 2 μm to 60 μm. The base layer has a shearing strength of 1.5 to 200 times the shearing strength of the surface layer.
