A method of fabricating a flexible mold for forming a flat display panel, comprising: forming a plurality of protrusions on a flexible film, forming plated patterns between the protrusions on the flexible film, the plated patterns having an inverted shape corresponding to partitions that define one or more sub-pixel regions in the panel, and removing the protrusions to form a flexible material.
Abstract:
In a flat display panel, a surface of at least one of a sustain electrode and an address electrode may be formed to have a curved surface. The surface of the electrode may be formed as a continuous curved surface. The sustain electrode and the address electrode may be elongated in a lengthwise direction thereof. These lengthwise directions may be perpendicular to each other. The electrode may be formed by transferring an electrode material onto the substrate using an electrode frame defined with electrode forming grooves each having a same sectional shape as the electrode. Therefore, the surface of the electrode may be formed as the curved surface.

The present invention relates to methods of preparing a polymer composite using a giant magnetostrictive material, and more particularly, to polymers composite having various improved properties, in which the advantageous structure of the giant magnetostrictive material produced by unidirectional solidification can be maintained by removing the eutectic phase from the magnetostrictive material and filling resulting voids with a polymer resin.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of isomerization inhibitors in olefin metathesis reactions. The inhibitors are low molecular weight organic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid, benzoic acid, and the like.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an optimum designing method of matching layers of a thickness-mode piezoelectric transducer in which a front load effective impedance when viewing in a load direction from a front side of a piezoelectric plate is used as a design parameter when designing an acoustic matching layer. An impedance characteristic of each acoustic matching layer is determined using a new matching formula. An optimized design parameter is determined in a region in which an amplitude in a peak amplitude contour map and a depth of a pulse width contour map using video waveforms for statistically evaluating a sensitivity and resolution of a piezoelectric transducer.

The present invention relates to a metal nanocomposite powder reinforced with carbon nanotubes and to a process of producing a metal nanocomposite powder homogeneously reinforced with carbon nanotubes in a metal matrix powder.
Abstract:
A single-piece adapter (10) is disclosed for supplying gas to a gas detector (32) that contains at least one gas sensor (34) and that has a gas inlet (30) for allowing gas at the inlet to come into contact with the at least one sensor (34), which adapter comprises: chamber (24) having an opening formed by a rim (22) for fitting over the gas inlet of a gas detector (32), the chamber having an inner surface (18), an inlet duct (14) for feeding gas into the chamber in a direction transverse to the opening, and an outlet (16) to vent gases from within the chamber. The inner surface (18) of the chamber is formed by a first moulding (12) of a rigid, non-absorbent material and a second moulding (20) of resilient material. The second moulding forms the rim (22) for providing a gas-tight seal between the adapter (10) and the detector (32).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a trans-reflective type LCD device and a method for fabricating the same wherein the method reduces the required number of masks by using a half-tone mask and a diffraction exposure process. Further, by using a half-tone mask and diffraction exposure process, a desired uneven surface may be formed on the reflective part of the pixel region without resorting to thermal processes that may otherwise degrade an insulating layer under the reflective electrode. Accordingly, an organic insulating material may be used between the transmissive electrode and the reflective electrode.
