    Abstract: Systems and method may provide unmanned aerial system communication. A method, performed by at least one processor that implements at least one server includes: obtaining a group identifier of a pair of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a controller of the UAV, or a respective group identifier for each of the pair; provisioning Quality of Service (QoS) for communication of the pair, using the group identifier of the pair or the respective group identifier for each of the pair; and determining whether a condition of the communication satisfies a pre-defined QoS requirement for the communication of the pair of the UAV and the controller, wherein the pre-defined QoS requirement includes a UAV originated QoS and a UAV terminated QoS.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatus for accessing a Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) server in a media scene description system. A CoAP request can be sent, by a media access function (MAF) of processing circuitry implementing the media scene description system using an application programming interface (API), to the CoAP server to request a media resource. The MAF can be configured as a CoAP client or a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)-CoAP proxy. A CoAP response can be received, by the MAF using the API, from the CoAP server. In an example, the CoAP response includes the requested media resource. In an embodiment, the MAF is compatible with both the CoAP request according to a CoAP communication protocol and a proxy request according to an HTTP communication protocol.

    Abstract: In a method of real-time network monitoring and location updating, a location report is received by an unmanned aerial system application enabler (UAE) server from a location management (LM) server. The location report indicates location information of a user equipment (UE). A first network event notification associated with the UE is received by the UAE server from a network resource management (NRM) server. The first network event notification indicates a connection status of the UE with a network. In response to detecting a re-connected status of the UE, a second networking event notification is received by the UAE server from the NRM server. The second networking event notification indicates that the UE reconnects to the network. Further, (i) the second networking event notification, (ii) an identity of the UAE server, and (iii) most recently updated location information of the UE from the LM server are recorded by the UAE server.

    Abstract: In a method of group creation for a pair of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and an unmanned aerial vehicle-controller (UAV-C) in a service enabler architecture layer (SEAL) architecture, the pair of UAV and UAV-C is determined by an unmanned aerial system application enabler (UAE) server in the SEAL architecture. A group creation request for the pair of UAV and UAV-C is transmitted by the UAE server to a SEAL group management (GM) server of the SEAL architecture. A first response message is received by the UAE server from the SEAL GM server for the group creation request. A group including the pair of the UAV and the UAV-C is created for quality-of-service (QoS) management. The group creation request includes an identity of an UAE client corresponding to the pair of UAV and UAV-C, an identity of the UAV, and an identity of the UAV-C.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and a vertical application layer (VAL) server for a media session management in wireless communication. The method includes obtaining session description protocol (SDP) information within a session initiation protocol (SIP) payload associated with a media session and sending a network resource request comprising the SDP information, by a processing circuitry of a media session management module of the VAL server, to a network resource management (NRM) server. The NRM server can be a service enabler architecture layer (SEAL) server. The network resource request can request a network resource. The method further includes receiving, by the VAL server, an evaluation for the network resource request from the NRM server. The media session can be established or terminated based on the received evaluation in the media session management module of the VAL server.
