    Abstract: The invention relates to a laser apparatus comprising a laser radiation source which generates pulsed laser radiation, wherein the laser radiation has spectral components in at least two wavelength ranges that differ from one another—a first wavelength range (W1) and a second wavelength range (W2)—, and comprising a dispersion control element comprising at least one dielectric multilayer mirror (MCM), wherein the laser radiation is reflected one or more times at the multilayer mirror (MCM). It is an object of the invention to provide a laser apparatus which is improved over the prior art. In particular, the setup thereof should be less complex, require less adjustment outlay and—in particular—be less sensitive to external influences. The invention achieves this object in that the multilayer mirror (MCM) is reflective in the two wavelength ranges (W1, W2), the reflection of the spectral component in the second wavelength range (W2) having a time delay in relation to the reflection of the spectral component in the first wavelength range (W1) such that the spectral components of the laser radiation reflected at the multilayer mirror (MCM) in the two wavelength ranges (W1, W2) coincide in time in an interaction centre of the laser apparatus. Moreover, the invention relates to a dielectric multilayer mirror and a method for generating laser radiation.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for generating temporally distant light pulses, said device comprising a first light source (51) generating a first sequence (I) of light pulses at a first repetition rate, and a second light source (52) generating a second sequence (II) of light pulses at a second repetition rate. It is the object of the present invention to provide an improved device for generating temporally distant light pulses. This object is inventively achieved by providing for at least one actuator element which influences the first and/or the second repetition rate, and a control element (61) which charges the actuator element with a periodical modulation signal (62) for periodical variation of the first and/or second repetition rate. A control circuit is provided for, comprising a phase detector (57), which derives a control signal (58) from the first light pulse sequence (I) and the second light pulse sequence (II), a corrective element (59, 60) which derives a control deviation signal (63) from the control signal (58) and the modulation signal (62), a control element (64), at the input of which the control deviation signal (63) is pending, and a superposition element (66) which forms an actuator signal (67) from the modulation signal (62) and the output signal (65) of the control element (64), and which charges the actuator element with the actuator signal (67). Moreover, the invention relates to a method for generating temporally distant light pulses.

    Abstract: A laser apparatus including a pulsed laser radiation source is disclosed, wherein the laser radiation has spectral components in at least two wavelength ranges W1, W2 that differ from one another, and a dispersion control element including at least one dielectric multilayer mirror, wherein the laser radiation is reflected one or more times at the multilayer mirror. The multilayer mirror is reflective in the two wavelength ranges W1, W2, and the reflection of the spectral component in the second wavelength range W2 has a time delay relative to the reflection of the spectral component in the first wavelength range W1 such that the spectral components of the laser radiation reflected at the multilayer mirror in the two wavelength ranges W1, W2 coincide in time in an interaction center of the laser apparatus, and a nonlinear optical element is situated in the interaction center.
