Abstract:
It is possible to provide a surface treatment agent containing a cell-adhesive polymer, by a surface treatment agent obtained by dissolving a water-insoluble polymer compound including constituents of (A) a monomer having a functional group exhibiting acidity and (B) a monomer having a HLB value (a Griffin's method) in a range of 0 to 5.0, in which a ratio of (A) is 10 to 50 mol %, and a solvent is an alcoholic solvent.
Abstract:
Provided are a temperature-responsive polymer surface treatment agent containing: a temperature-responsive polymer; and a cell-adhesive polymer including a monomer having a functional group exhibiting acidity and a monomer having a HLB value (a Griffin's method) in a range of 0 to 5.0, and a temperature-responsive cell culture substrate obtained by covering a substrate with the temperature-responsive polymer surface treatment agent, in which cell adhesiveness and cell recovery by a cooling treatment are compatible.
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a block copolymer which is useful as a surface treatment agent for cell culture substrates, said surface treatment agent enabling cell separation in a short period of time. The above-mentioned problem is solved by a block copolymer that includes the following blocks (A), (B) and (C):(A) a temperature-responsive polymer block that has a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) within the range of from 0° C. to 50° C. with respect to water (B) a hydrophilic polymer block that does not have an LCST within the range of from 0° C. to 50° C., while having an HLB value within the range of from 9 (inclusive) to 20 (exclusive) (C) a hydrophobic polymer block that does not have an LCST within the range of from 0° C. to 50° C., while having an HLB value within the range of from 0 (inclusive) to 9 (exclusive).
Abstract:
To provide a heterogeneous catalyst that exhibits high activity and high selectivity, specifically a catalyst suitable for oxychlorination to produce 1,2-dichloroethane from ethylene, and a catalyst system. Provided are: a heterogeneous catalyst supported on a porous carrier, characterized in that the integral value of the hysteresis occurring between an adsorption isotherm and a desorption isotherm by a gas adsorption method, is at most 19% to the total integral value of the adsorption isotherm; and a catalyst system for producing 1,2-dichloroethane, which comprises this catalyst and a diluent having a spherical shape, circular cylindrical shape or hollow cylindrical shape.
