Abstract: A lighting module for an automotive vehicle includes a plurality of lighting sub-modules each including at least one light source, a flat optical light guide with an input surface, and an output surface and a reflection surface which is capable of reflecting light from the input surface to the output surface. The plurality of lighting sub-modules includes first lighting sub-modules configured to each produce a lighting sub-beam with an upper horizontal cut-off, and second lighting sub-modules configured to each produce a lighting sub-beam without an upper horizontal cut-off. The first and second lighting sub-modules are juxtaposed so as to form, along the juxtaposition, a plurality of alternations between the first and second lighting sub-modules.

Abstract: A light source of a matrix arrangement of light sources of a motor vehicle lighting module includes a substrate having an upper face, a lower face opposite the upper face, and an electronic circuit. At least one light-emitting element is mounted on the upper face of the substrate and includes a light-emitting part. Also included is an optical device for forming the light beams emitted by the light-emitting element, and the lower face includes connection contacts connected to the electronic circuit, the electronic circuit being adapted to power the at least one light-emitting element. The light-emitting part of at least one light-emitting element having a surface area of less than 40,000 μm2. The optical device includes an optical element that is produced by being molded onto the at least one light-emitting element and at least partially onto the upper face of the substrate.

Abstract: A luminous device for a motor vehicle, said device including a pixelized light source and an optical system that is arranged to project a pixelized light beam emitted by the pixelized light source, the optical system comprising a first mirror arranged to collect and reflect rays of the pixelized light beam emitted by the pixelized light source, a second mirror arranged to reflect the rays reflected by the first mirror, and a third mirror arranged to receive the rays reflected by the second mirror and to reflect these received rays so as to correct field aberrations. The invention enables improved projection of a pixelized light beam by a luminous motor-vehicle device.

Abstract: An object detection system for a motor vehicle is proposed. The system includes an array of electroluminescent light sources, an array of light sensors and a calculating unit. At least one of the electroluminescent light sources is able to emit a signal. At least one of the sensors is able to receive the emitted signal that has been reflected by an object. The calculating unit is able to calculate, by triangulation, the position of the object on the basis of the position, in one of the arrays of electroluminescent light sources, of at least one of the electroluminescent light sources able to emit a signal and on the basis of the position, in one of the arrays of light sensors, of at least one of the sensors able to receive the signal reflected by the object.
