Abstract:
A lighting device for a motor vehicle includes a housing having a front lighting surface, and a substantially planar plate and at least one lighting module mounted on the plate. The plate has a general plane of extension that is horizontal when the housing is mounted in the vehicle, and has a surface referred to as a lower surface and a surface referred to as an upper surface. The plate includes a first control system which includes a first male element and is arranged to cause translation of the first male element in an axis parallel to the plate, the plate being provided with a first recess receiving the first male element. A second control system that includes a second male element and is arranged to cause translation of the second male element in an axis perpendicular to the plate, the plate being provided with a second recess on its upper or lower surface that receives the second male element. The housing thus takes up less space above the modules, which can easily be raised.

Abstract:
A differentiated viewing device, notably for a motor vehicle, comprising a light system configured to selectively emit first and second light signals, the device further comprises a first pair of active spectacles intended to be worn by a first observer, the first pair of spectacles being provided with a first screen capable of allowing the vision of the first observer in a first configuration and of blanking the vision of the first observer in a second configuration, the light system and the first pair of spectacles being synchronized so that the first screen is in the first configuration when the light system emits the first signals, and in the second configuration when the light system emits the second signals.
Abstract:
A method for obtaining an image of an object to be classified for a driver assistance system of a motor vehicle, wherein the vehicle emits a plurality of selectively activatable light areas in front of it, at least partly forming an illuminating and/or signaling light beam. The method includes the following successive steps: —detecting an object to be classified by determining at least one parameter and defining a region comprising said object to be classified; —triggering an increase in the light intensity of said light areas illuminating said region; —taking at least one image of said object to be classified simultaneously with the triggering step; and—classifying the detected object on the basis of the at least one taken image. The invention also relates to a system for implementing said method and a vehicle comprising such a system. Lastly, the invention relates to a computer program product and a medium comprising such a program.
Abstract:
A primary optical element for a motor vehicle lighting module that comprises a light introduction part provided with a plurality of primary optical means connected at output to a correcting part, the primary optical means being arranged on at least two levels in a first direction, as first and second distinct primary optical means. A plurality of first primary optical means are arranged in series in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. In one embodiment, a lighting module is disclosed for a motor vehicle headlight which comprises a plurality of light sources, such a primary optical element and an associated secondary optical element.
Abstract:
A communication device, notably for motor vehicles, including a transmission system equipped with a light source designed to emit an initial light beam, the transmission system being configured for generating a first light beam polarized in a first direction starting from the initial light beam, the transmission system furthermore including a modulator of the direction of polarization of the first polarized light beam in such a manner as to transmit information, the device furthermore including a receiver system configured for detecting the first polarized light beam when it is polarized in the first direction and for transmitting the information.

The output dioptre includes at least one section through a horizontal plane having two convex portions separated by a concave portion, viewed from a side opposite the light source. The input dioptre includes a section through a vertical median plane having a lower convex portion and an upper concave portion, viewed from a side opposite the light source.
Abstract:
A luminous lighting and/or signaling module for an automotive vehicle, the module comprising first means arranged to produce a first cut-off beam and second means arranged to produce at least two selectively activatable luminous segments, the luminous segments forming a second beam that is complementary to the cut-off beam, when they are activated simultaneously.

Abstract:
A lighting device that includes a series of optical waveguides each able to allow rays of light to be waveguided between an entry face, arranged at a proximal end of the optical waveguide, and an exit face. The device is formed of at least two subassemblies produced separately and each including at least a portion of the series of optical waveguides and first structural elements for retaining the waveguides in position and joining successive optical waveguides of the subassembly together, the two subassemblies being able to be assembled to form the device through collaboration of the first structural elements. The distal ends of at least two successive optical waveguides of the series are connected by a piece of translucent or transparent flexible material.
