Abstract:
A method of manufacturing artificial leather is provided. A textile support is provided coated with coagulated polyurethane on which colored and uncolored base coats are applied, interspersed with drying steps, and then embossed to impart an aesthetic design in relief. On the embossed semi-finished product, colored and non-colored finishing coats are applied.
Abstract:
An artificial leather includes a resin layer as the surface and a base fabric connected to the resin layer as the substrate. The base fabric comprises at least two monolayer structures arranged in an orderly manner as two laminates. Each monolayer structure is woven with some of the warp yarns and/or weft yarns in such layer or with some of the warp yarns and/or weft yarns in one or more other layers to form a number of connecting points, such that at least two monolayer structures arranged in an orderly manner as two laminates are connected with each other in the weaving process, forming a multi-layer integrated base fabric. The artificial leather incorporates a number of air vent holes distributed in the resin layer and the base fabric in the direction of thickness while retaining mechanical properties of tensile strength and tear resistance.
Abstract:
Provided are a seat cover for an automobile and a manufacturing method therefor, the seat cover comprising a surface-treated layer, a cover layer, a soft foam layer, and a rear layer and comprising an embossing pattern formed on the top surface, wherein the soft foam layer comprises 15 to 20 foam cells per unit area of 1 mm2 of the surface thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a surface-waterproof sheet for inorganic boards including multi-use non-woven fabrics and a waterproof coating layer, and a method of manufacturing the same. The method includes preparing a multi-use non-woven fabric composed of cellulose fibers, glass fibers and organic fibers; preparing a waterproof coating solution containing a powdery acrylic binder, water, an inorganic filler, a water repellent, a pigment and an antimicrobial agent; and coating the waterproof coating solution on the multi-use non-woven fabric, followed by drying the waterproof coating solution, thereby providing surface-waterproof sheet for inorganic boards for buildings, which has improved adhesion to the inorganic board and economic feasibility.
Abstract:
A method for providing a textile product includes the steps of providing yarns, contacting the yarns with a support material to form an intermediate product and bonding the yarns to the support material to form the textile product, wherein the bonding takes place by providing a reactive nucleus precursor at a site where the yarns contact the support material, and converting the precursor into a compound having multiple reactive nuclei in the presence of a compound having multiple nucleophilic groups, as well as a textile product obtainable by the method, uses of that product and lignin for use in producing such a textile product.
Abstract:
Disclosed are fluorinated acrylate compounds. The compounds are useful as monomers in the preparation of polymeric surfactants and additives for coating compositions or as treatment agents to impart various surface properties to substrates
Abstract:
A method of making a mat with a textile surface and an elastomer backing is provided. The method includes mixing elastomer crumbs and a binder, depositing the crumb/binder mixture in a layer (22), placing a textile surface element (34) on the layer to form a mat assembly, and pressing the mat assembly in a press (9) while setting the binder. The elastomer crumbs are consolidated to form an elastomer backing (2) that includes voids between the elastomer crumbs, and the textile surface element is bonded to the elastomer backing to form the upper textile layer (1) of the mat.
Abstract:
A method for binding a greige carpet and a secondary backing material using a hot melt adhesive is disclosed. A heated application roll may be provided and the secondary backing material may be contacted with the hot melt adhesive and greige carpet and pressed against the heated application roll.
Abstract:
A moisture-vapor-permeable and water-resistant fiber involves a layer of base fabric, a moisture-vapor-permeable layer, and a water absorption layer. The moisture vapor permeable layer is obtained by coating or laminating the inner side of the fabric with a moisture-vapor-permeable resin, which prohibits the penetration of the water droplets but allows the penetration of the moisture vapor molecules. The moisture absorption layer with intricate and colorful design is composed of binding resin blended with fiber powder and/or inorganic powder, and which is dot-coated or dot-printed onto the inner side of the moisture-vapor-permeable and water-resistant layer. The fiber powder or inorganic powder is highly hydrophilic and highly absorbent in its moisture absorption ability, which, when the clothes are fabricated, can prevent the penetration of raindrops but allows the transmission of the evaporated vapor of sweat through the fabric. Moreover, it is capable of absorbing plentiful amount of sweat.
Abstract:
Textiles treated with hydrophobic dispersions that exhibit superior drying rates and lower spin-dry water contents are disclosed. Polytetrafluoroethylene, polyvinyl acetate, and polyvinyl acetate/acrylic copolymer dispersions are used to treat textiles, including yarns, fabrics, linens, and articles of clothing. The use of dispersions create textiles with a discontinuous treatment of discrete individual hydrophobic particles applied to the surface. The treated textiles exhibit superior drying properties at very low levels of treatment. Also provided are methods for treating textiles with hydrophobic dispersions. The incremental cost to the textile of the treatment is minimized by low levels of treatment and flexibility in application.
