Abstract: In one aspect, a system for detecting and addressing an unsafe working condition may include a work vehicle structured to operate over a work surface. The system can also include a proximity sensor mounted to the work vehicle and structured to generate a proximity sensor signal indicative of a presence of an obstacle within a dynamic zone of operation of the work vehicle. The system may also include a safety control system configured to receive the proximity sensor signal and execute a safety action based upon the proximity sensor signal, wherein the safety system is further configured to adjust the dynamic zone of operation based upon an object detection confidence measure.

Abstract: A method and system for autonomously varying fertilization levels within a field, the field being divided into a plurality of segments, using an autonomous pivot, may include: applying an amount of fertilizer using a fertilizer applicator to each segment; capturing images of each segment in at least two different spectral ranges after a time period; calculating a Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) value for each segment of the field based on the captured images; and varying the amount of fertilizer applied to each segment after the time period, wherein the amount of fertilizer is varied based on re-captured images and re-calculated NDVI values for each segments after the time period.

A conveyance subsystem configured to convey the harvested material from the harvesting machine to a receiving vehicle during the harvesting operation. An image capture system generates an image of the receiving vehicle and an image processor uses a machine learning system to recognize a boundary of the receiving vehicle. A control system determines a position of the receiving vehicle boundary relative to the harvesting machine, and generates a control signal based on the identified receiving vehicle boundary.

Abstract: Systems and methods for planning and filtering a path of a vehicle in a work area or field are described. An example system includes a user interface that supports a selection of a threshold value used to filter the path of the vehicle. The system also includes a data processor that receives the path that defines guidance lines and transitions between guidance lines and filters the path by deleting portions of the guidance lines that do not satisfy the threshold value. The guidance lines define movement of the vehicle though a work area or field. The system includes a guidance module that controls at least one motive function of the vehicle based on the filtered path.

Abstract: One or more information maps are obtained by an agricultural system. The one or more information maps map one or more characteristic values at different geographic locations in a worksite. An in-situ sensor detects a mass flow value as a mobile machine operates at the worksite. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that maps predictive mass flow values or predictive yield values at different geographic locations in the worksite based on a relationship between the values in the one or more information maps and the mass flow value detected by the in-situ sensor or the yield value based on the detected mass flow value.
