Abstract:
Provided is an image forming apparatus capable of presenting to a user movies that show operation steps for solving a maintenance event occurring in the apparatus without increasing the number of times the user needs to perform the operation of playing the movie. A CPU is configured to play a combination of a plurality of movies as a series of movies that show operation steps for solving a maintenance event occurring in the image forming apparatus. The CPU is further configured to determine a stop point at which the series of movies that is playing stops playing, based on stop point information set for each of the combination of the plurality of movies. The CPU is further configured to stop the series of movies that is playing at the determined stop point.
Abstract:
Creating spherical video and corresponding audio utilizing a plurality of cameras by acquiring images via the cameras, processing the images, and mathematically converting and/or transforming the images into a combined spherical image file. A camera device creates the spherical image file and transfers it to devices running a viewer application, whereby the transfer occurs by saving the file to a storage file, streaming it to the devices via wired/wireless communication, or both.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus combines a plurality of sub-movies representing operation procedures to be performed to perform maintenance on the image forming apparatus and plays the combined sub-movies sequentially as one movie. In response to stopping the movie being played, the image forming apparatus displays a replay mark for use to issue a command to replay the movie from the beginning of a sub-movie corresponding to a position where the movie is stopped.
Abstract:
An image processing device and the like capable of reducing a retrieval time of a moving image corresponding to a captured image and enhancing retrieval accuracy thereof are provided. In the image processing device, an outline identification section identifies an outline of each still image included in a captured image acquired by capturing an output image of a composite image. A layout structure analysis section analyzes a layout structure of the plural still images included in the captured image based on information about each outline. A moving image specifying section that retrieves association information including a layout structure corresponding to the layout structure of the plural still images included in the captured image, from plural pieces of association information of composite images stored in a storage section, detects the result as first association information, and specifies each moving image associated with each still image included in the first association information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for reproducing a moving image that may improve user convenience by providing information regarding the moving image to enable a user to conveniently and easily manipulate the apparatus. An image reproducing apparatus includes: a moving image reproducing unit for reproducing a moving image; and an overlapping area providing unit for displaying related information regarding the moving image on one or more overlapping areas displayed on a moving image reproducing screen, wherein the one or more overlapping areas are movable and manipulable by a user's input.
Abstract:
One feature pertains to an apparatus that includes a first communication interface, a second communication interface adapted to transmit and/or receive multimedia data signals to and/or from a device through a wired connection, and a memory circuit adapted to store instructions for conducting one or more wired connection integrity tests. The wired connection integrity tests determine at least whether the apparatus is able to communicate with the device. The apparatus further includes a processing circuit adapted to initiate the one or more wired connection integrity tests by executing the instructions stored in the memory circuit, determine whether each of the one or more wired connection integrity tests initiated passed or failed, and report whether the one or more wired connection integrity tests passed or failed. The wired connection integrity tests may include signal line communication tests, cable integrity and quality tests, and data or video test pattern tests.
Abstract:
A moving image data recording apparatus and method that records a moving image file and a still image file and associates them with each other in the same directory.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal and a method for transmitting an image therein are provided. The method includes displaying a first image input through a first camera unit while participating in a video communication, transmitting the first image to a counterpart terminal, operating, if a second image is selected for transmission, a second camera unit, inputting a second image through the second camera unit, resizing the first image and the second image according to an image standard used for the video communication, displaying the resized first image and second image, and transmitting the resized first image and second image to the counterpart terminal. Thus, a user can view images for video communication input through more than one camera unit and transmit the images to a counterpart terminal during a video communication.
Abstract:
There is provided an image processing apparatus including an acquiring unit for acquiring moving image data containing a plurality of successive frames, and one or a plurality of image data corresponding to the frames and having a spatial resolution higher than the frames; a motion prediction unit for detecting a motion vector between the frames using the moving image data; and an image generation unit for generating motion compensated image data corresponding to a predetermined frame based on the image data and the motion vector. The image generation unit generates the motion compensated image data being positioned between the predetermined frame and a frame corresponding to the image data and corresponding to the frame, and generates motion compensated image data corresponding to the predetermined frame based on the motion compensated image data and the motion vector.
Abstract:
An electronic pen for interacting with a substrate having a pattern of coded data printed thereon. The pen includes an infrared light source for illuminating an area of the substrate; an image sensor for imaging the coded data illuminated in the area; a force sensor for sensing an interaction between the pen and the substrate; a processing system configured for: determining digital ink from the imaged coded data; storing the digital ink in a memory buffer; determining whether the pen is positioned within a predetermined functional zone of the substrate; and initiating a response in the pen in the event that the pen is positioned within the predetermined functional zone. The response is initiated without reference to a remote computer system.
