Abstract:
MFP accepts designation of user identification information as a destination of data, accepts designation of data to be delivered to the destination, accepts a transmission source process procedure that defines a plurality of processes to be executed on the designated data, and generates related data having them related to each other. In addition, when an input of user identification information is accepted, MFP obtains a transmission destination process procedure registered beforehand corresponding to the input user identification information, decides a final process procedure based on the transmission source process procedure related to the obtained data by the related data and the obtained transmission destination process procedure, and processes the data according to the decided final process procedure.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an image processing apparatus and an image processing system which facilitate management against unauthorized use by creating a job log according to a usage status of a user. A creation section creates a different job log for each individual user. The job log has storage conditions of image data included in the job log set according to a storage level. The storage conditions are a color of an image, a resolution of the image data and whether or not necessary to create OCR data of the image data. To increase efficiency of a follow-up research by using such a job log, the storage level of the image data relating to the user having performed unauthorized use is raised.
Abstract:
An image processing system, a computer readable medium, a printing device and a reading device are provided. The image processing system includes an operation unit which receives commands; a setting unit which performs setting processing for setting, in accordance with the commands received by the operation unit, a performance condition including an independent setting item, the independent setting item comprising first and second fields for setting different values, respectively, for the front side and the back side of a sheet material; and a performance unit which processes the front side and the back side of the sheet material in accordance with the performance condition set by the setting unit. The printing device includes a print unit that performs double-sided printing on a sheet material; the operation unit; the setting unit; and a control unit that controls the print unit to perform double-sided printing in accordance with the print condition.
Abstract:
In a printing system in which a digital camera (DSC) and PD printer apparatus are directly connected via a USB, and image data is transmitted from the DSC to the PD printer apparatus and printed, Capability of the PD printer apparatus is transmitted from the PD printer apparatus to the DSC after communication procedures are established by an application (NCDP) installed in the PD printer apparatus and DSC. The PD printer apparatus is caused to execute print operation in accordance with print conditions set by the DSC on the basis of the transmitted Capability.
Abstract:
In a printing system in which a digital camera (DSC) and photo-direct (PD) printer apparatus are directly connected via a USB, and image data is transmitted from the DSC to the PD printer apparatus and printed, Capability of the PD printer apparatus is transmitted from the PD printer apparatus to the DSC after communication procedures are established by an application New Camera Direct Print (NCDP) installed in the PD printer apparatus and DSC. The PD printer apparatus is caused to execute a print operation in accordance with print conditions set by the DSC on the basis of the transmitted Capability.
Abstract:
In order to facilitate an input of a process condition for allowing any of a plurality of image forming apparatuses to form an image, a PC communicative to a plurality of MFPs connected via a network obtains function information defining a function held by each of a plurality of MFPs, displays a common condition setting window for accepting an input of a process condition for performing a common function held by all of a plurality of image forming apparatuses, based on the obtained function information, accepts an input of a process condition, and outputs the accepted process condition to any one of a plurality of MFPs.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes: an operation section which accepts a job setting operation; a memory section which memorizes an element of a job set through the operation section; a display section, and a controller, wherein the controller is configured to control the display section to display a plurality of jobs so as to display elements memorized in the memory section of the plurality of jobs on the display section, accept selecting elements from two or more jobs of the plurality of jobs through the operation section, and generate a new job including the elements selected.
Abstract:
An image forming device is disclosed that is able to prevent halt of operations due to full memory occupation, and prevent the full occupation of the memory. The image forming device includes a reading unit; an image data storage unit; a vacancy waiting unit that, when allocating a storage area for storing image data in the image data storage unit, waits until the storage size of a vacancy in the image data storage unit becomes greater than a predetermined value when allocation of the storage area fails; a failure processing unit that, when allocating the storage area for storing the image data in the image data storage unit, performs failure processing when allocation of the storage area fails; and a control unit that controls one of the vacancy waiting unit and the failure processing unit according to image forming conditions in the image forming device.
Abstract:
A facsimile machine includes a facsimile communication unit, an Internet facsimile communication unit, and a controller that sets to rotate a scanned image by 90 degrees. When the controller sets to rotate the scanned image by 90 degrees, the facsimile communication unit rotates the scanned image by 90 degrees and transmits the scanned image, and the Internet facsimile communication unit transmits the scanned image without rotating the scanned image by 90 degrees.
Abstract:
A novel method of printing including receiving printer setting information indicative of printer driver settings corresponding to a print request, and printing the printer driver settings along with a print job corresponding to the print request. Further, the printer driver settings may be printed only on a first page of the print request, on all pages of the print request, on a separate front sheet of the print request, and/or on a separate rear sheet of the print request. The printer setting information is further indicative of computer system information including, for example, a computer user name, a name of computer software used to make a file corresponding to the print request, a name of the file, a name of a printer printing the print request, and a printing time stamp. This computer system information may also be printed together with the printer driving settings. In addition, the printer driver settings include, for example, a printer paper source, an output paper tray, a layout setting, a collation status, a duplex setting, an orientation setting, a paper size, a scale rate, a positive or negative image, an original or mirror image, font information, watermark information, coloring information, and a print job waiting time and job queue schedule information. The present invention also relates to a printer and graphical user interface allowing a user to print the printer setting information on desired pages.
