Abstract:
A microchannel structure with a fine flow path through which a fluid flows, includes: a wavy plate member fabricated into a wavy form; an external peripheral wall member that surrounds the wavy plate member; and a spacer that ensures a spacing between opposed portions of the wavy plate member, wherein the fine flow path is defined by the wavy plate member and the external peripheral wall member.
Abstract:
A picture display device comprising a solution of a material which is reversibly reducible and oxidizable by means of an electric current. The electrodes constitute a cross-bar system. The device is divided into a number of non-communicating compartments which are filled with the solution. Each compartment comprises an electrode, which electrodes form a first set. Of a second set of electrodes, each electrode is in contact with the liquid in all the compartments.
Abstract:
A light source includes a base, a light-transmissive envelope coupled to the base, a composition disposed within the light-transmissive envelope, and a gas phase contained by the envelope for suppressing vaporization of the composition at operating temperatures greater than about 2000 Kelvin. The composition includes a first region and a second region and operable to suppress or reflect photons having a wavelength greater than about 700 nm and to emit or transmit photons having a wavelength between about 400 nm and about 700 nm.
Abstract:
A self-cooling screw bulb-type electromagnetic induction lamp comprises a bulb body, an inner tube, amalgam and a coupler, wherein the inner tube is arranged inside the bulb body, and the coupler is arranged inside the inner tube; besides, the lamp further comprises a screw-type lamp cap and a radiating piece, wherein the bulb body is connected on the screw-type lamp cap through the radiating piece, and the coupler is connected with the radiating piece. The disclosure effectively solves the problem that the installation of the electromagnetic induction lamp is incompatible with the conventional lighting fitting, while effectively improving the heat-radiating efficiency and the performances, thereby facilitating the promotion, popularization, application and development of the electromagnetic induction lamp.
Abstract:
An LED light bulb includes a bulb housing, at least two heat sinks, an LED chip connected on each of the heat sinks, a circuit board driving the LED chip to work, a bulb base, and a bulb cap. The inner sides of the heat sinks encircle into an air cavity. Each heat sink has a first opening. The bulb base has a second opening. The first opening is exposed in the second opening to communicate with the air cavity. The top end of the bulb housing has a third opening to communicate with the air cavity. The air cavity forms up-and-down circulating convection air via the three openings.
Abstract:
A particle based optical diode having at least two cavities or at least two regions of a single cavity, wherein the regions contain different types of particles.
