Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for recognizing human information. The disclosed method for recognizing human information comprises a step of generating sensor data-based human information comprising the identification, the location, and the behavior information of a human body existing in a recognition space by analyzing sensor data from multiple sensor resources arranged in the recognition space; a step of generating fused human information by fusing human information from a robot and human information from the sensor data, obtained and provided through interaction between a mobile robot terminal located in the recognition space and a human located in the recognition space, according to the location of the mobile robot and the state of the interaction; and a step of storing a human module according to the fused human information with respect to the human existing in the recognition space, in a database. Accordingly, the present invention is advantageous in improving the reliability of recognition information on the identification, the location, and the behavior information of a user when a plurality of users exist, by fusing multiple sensor resources installed in the recognition space and resources from a robot.

Abstract: A touching behavior recognition system and a method thereof are provided to recognize various touch behaviors through a sensor board and a signal processing board without attaching a sensor to a robot at an initial time. A touch behavior recognition system comprises a sensor board(100), a signal processing board(200) and a robot(300). The sensor board detects a sensor value corresponding to a touch behavior through an inertia sensor attached to a body portion. The signal processing board recognizes the touch behavior from the sensor value detected by the sensor board. The signal processing board transfers the touch behavior recognition result to an object.

Abstract: An image object extracting device and a method thereof are provided to separate and extract a frontal-viewing object image from an inputting image by using multi-border line information. A border information detector(108a) performs a preprocessing operation that obtains border information and border line information about a reference background object image and an inputting image, and a background separator(108b) separates a background object image from the inputting image by using a border line difference image based on multi-border line information. Abstract: A method for modeling a user intention based on human desire and a system thereof are provided to offer efficient, active and intelligent services in a ubiquitous environment by supporting provision of services where various user's intentions are reflected. A system for modeling a user intention based on human desire includes plural user intention model servers(410), plural ontology servers(420), a service providing device(430), a status information collector(440), and a remote machine(460). Each of user intention model servers is composed of a Bayesian network, includes a user intention model(412) for expressing a user's intention and a Bayesian network inference engine software(414) for analyzing the user intention model. Each of ontology servers includes an ontology(422) for describing the user's intention model, and an ontology inference engine software for inferring the user's intention by using the ontology and external input information. The user's intention can be used via the service providing device like a robot(432) or an agent(434). The remote machine is used for additionally extending the user's intention at a remote place.

Abstract: A network-based robot control system in a dynamic IP address environment is provided to construct and operate a robot control server in a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) environment as well as in a shared network environment so that a user can easily construct a PC-based robot control server at home. A network-based robot control system in a dynamic IP address environment consists of a robot(700), a robot control server(500), and an authentication server(100). The robot makes an authentication request for network access, and executes network access, based on a packet received according to an authentication result. The robot control server creates a virtual robot object for the robot, stores and manages information for the robot's network access, and executes an operation corresponding to a command received from the robot connected to a network. The authentication server authenticates, registers, and manages information about the robot control server which performs network access with the robot. If an authentication request packet is received from the robot, the authentication server transmits a response packet, and issues an authentication key for the robot control server. Using the authentication key, the authentication server checks an authentication result for the robot control server. Also, using the authentication key, the authentication server allocates and distributes the robot control server the robot will access.
