Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixture for preparing a product having excellent stability to a maturing process, specifically to hydrolysis in a polyisocyanate polyaddition reaction. SOLUTION: A mixture comprises (i) at least one isocyanate and (ii) at least one acid/or at least one acid derivative except its acid anhydride wherein (ii) is present in an amount of 0.01 to 20 wt.% based on the weight of the mixture; and the acid or the acid derivative of (ii) is present in a molar excess over any amines present in the mixture.
Abstract:
A process for aftertreating colored polyester- or polyamide-containing textile in a vessel or an apparatus, characterized in that flushing is effected with an aqueous liquor which is treated with solid polymer which is capable of dissolving disperse dye at temperatures in the range from 40 to 80°C.
Abstract:
According to the inventive method, the polyurethane foams are produced by reacting isocyanates with compounds that react with isocyanates in the presence of foaming agents and optionally, catalysts, additives and/or auxiliary agents. The method is characterised in that the reaction is carried out in the presence of at least one of the following compounds (i): alpha , beta -unsaturated carboxylic acid, alpha , beta -unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, alpha , beta -unsaturated ketone and or alpha , beta -unsaturated aldehyde.
Abstract:
The polyisocyanate polyaddition products comprise hydrophobic compounds plus at least one further compound selected from the group consisting of: (i) organic, cyclic compounds having a molecular weight of from 200 to 3000 g/mol, (ii) salts of metals of transition groups I, II and/or VIII, (iii) organic and/or inorganic acid anhydrides, (iv) cyclic sulfonic esters and/or sulfones, (v) lactones, lactams and/or cyclic esters and/or (vi) alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acids, alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivatives, alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones and/or alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes.

The present invention relates to a mixture that contains (i) at least one isocyanate and (ii) at least one organic and/or inorganic acid anhydride.
Abstract:
Highly elastic polyurethane foams have a DIN EN ISO 2440 and DIN EN ISO 1856 (Process A) humid aged compression set (HACS) ≤ 15% and a DIN EN ISO 1856 (Process C) wet compression set (WCS) ≤ 20%. An Independent claim is also included for highly elastic polyurethane foams obtained by reacting (A) a polyisocyanate with (B) a component comprising by weight (B1) a polymerpolyol (5-75%) and (B2) a mixture (25-95%) consisting of (i) a polyetheralcohol (70-98%) of mol. wt. 3500-6500, functionality ≤ 3 and ethylene oxide (EO) content 8-20 wt.% and (ii) a polyetheralcohol (2-30%) of mol. wt. 4000-7000, functionality 4-8 and EO content 5-15 wt.%.
