    Abstract: The invention concerns a mixture of a copolymer (A) comprising between 50 and 99 mol % polymerized-in styrene units and between 1 and 50 mol % polymerized-in units of 1,1-diphenylethylene and/or a block copolymer comprising at least one polystyrene block and at least one poly(styrene/diphenylethylene) block of the above composition. The invention further concerns a process for preparing this mixture by the anionic block (co)polymerization of styrene or styrene and diphenylethylene, and an impact-resistant modified polystyrene (B).

The inventive molding material also contains 5 to 55 wt. % of a rubber-elastic microsuspension graft polymer consisting of particles with a diameter d50 of 30 mu m or less with a rubber-elastic graft core consisting of units of one or several C2-36-alkyl-acrylic esters with a glass transmission temperature Tg lower than -10 DEG C and a graft shell made of at least 50 wt. % polymerized styrene units.
