    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery connector structure and a battery pack capable of maintaining excellent contact even if the external force is applied to the periphery of a connector. SOLUTION: This invention is related to the battery connector structure having a male connector formed of an interdigital electrode provided with a positioning plate and a recessed part for insertion of the interdigital electrode and the positioning plate and formed to be connected to a female connector to be electrically connected to the interdigital electrode freely to be disconnected. In this battery connector structure, a tip of the positioning plate is provided with a projection, and a recessed part of the female connector or a system provided with the female connector is provided with a recessed part corresponding to the projection. A battery pack has this battery connector structure.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique inhibiting access to a computer when the security device of the computer with a security function is illegally removed. SOLUTION: A security device is hardware taking responsibility for a part of the security function of a computer and inhibits access with the following procedures when illegally removed. Data indicating that the security device is mounted on the computer is stored and held in a nonvolatile memory. After that, a procedure to inhibit access to the computer is started with some event such as power-on as a start. Next, it is detected on the basis of the data in memory that the security device has been mounted. It is further detected that the security device is now removed from the computer. When the security device is now removed even through it has been mounted, access to the computer is inhibited.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure which can make a computer device thin and strongly fix a disk drive to the computer device when the disk drive device is mounted on the computer device such as a notebook-sized PC. SOLUTION: A slanting surface 83 of an HDD door 8 and a slanting surface 54 formed on a lower wall 52 come into contact with each other. When a screw mounted on the HDD door 8 is tightened at this time, a clamping force is applied to the HDD door 8 in parallel to the plane direction of a PC housing. The HDD 4 united with the HDD door 8 is displaced in parallel by a fine distance proportional to the tightening quantity of the screw. At this time, the slanting surface 83 slides up on the slanting surface 54, thus the HDD 4 is also displaced upward by a fine distance in Fig. 7. When the screw is tightened to its permissible range, the HDD 4 comes into contact with an upper wall 51.
