Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the disorder of arrangement of reinforcing fibers to obtain superior mechanical properties with reduced variations of properties between products by arranging a one-way fabric at a lateral end portion of a laminated body of base materials in a direction that a wrap of said fabric is directed to a drawing direction, to cover a lateral edge of said end portion and bonding said fabric with said base materials. CONSTITUTION:Laminated bodies 2, 2 of a base material of carbon fibers which has a one-way fabric bonded at a lateral end portion thereof are drawn out of creels 1, 1, dipped in resin baths 3, 3 to be impregnated with the resin. Thereafter, the bodies are formed into one unit through a doubling calender 11 comprised of guide rolls 4, 4 which is further sent to shaping guides 5, 6 so that the cross section thereof is gradually formed into U-shape. Then, the resin of the body is pressured and impregnated at a manifold 7, and the unit of drawn through a heating die 8 for molding. The laminated bodies 2, 2 of carbon fiber fabric are bonded at their lateral end portions with one-way fabrics 13, 13 having carbon fibers as warps and glass fibers as woofs, in such a manner that the warps are arranged in the drawing direction, to cover the lateral edges.

A carbon fiber-based bulk molding compound- made molded article is obtained by curing the carbon fiber-based bulk molding compound material.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably execute an anchoring work of FRP reinforcements by fixing the FRP reinforcement so as to wrap up the outer peripheral face of the holding part of the reinforcement when introducing a tension to the FRP reinforcement to anchor it while pinching the reinforcement by an anchoring tool including a pair of wedge members and holding it. SOLUTION: An external case 1, wedge parts 2, 2', and FRP reinforcements 3 are provided. The wedge parts 2, 2' slide along the internal wall of the external case 1 by the tension at the time of anchorage, and the FRP reinforcements 3 are held on tensing the reinforcements. The FRP reinforcement 3 is constituted of reinforcing members 4, 4' and an adhesive to fix the reinforcement 3 and the reinforcing members 4, 4'. In this way, since the anchorage part of the reinforcements 3 is covered and reinforced, when a tension is introduced to the FRP reinforcement, crushing at the holding part can be prevented and the FRP reinforcement is not directly held by the wedge members. Accordingly, the reinforcement does neither slip out of the holding part nor breaks at the front end of the wedge and hence, construction work can be carried out while imparting a stable tension.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts, to unnecessitate the assembly of the front surface part of a photographic film frame, to reduce cost and to improve productivity by constituting at least the entire front surface part of the photographic film frame of the integral molding of carbon fiber short fiber reinforced resin. SOLUTION: This photographic film frame for X-ray photography 1 is constituted of the front surface part 2 and a rear surface part 3. The front surface part 2 and the rear surface part 3 are coupled to be opened/closed by a hinge part 9. The entire front surface part 2 is constituted of the integral molding of the carbon fiber short fiber reinforced resin. A hook part 10 and a rib 6 having undercut structure are integrally formed with a side surface part 4 on the edge part and the frame part of the front surface part 2 on the back surface part 3 side. The hook part 10 is formed in an acute undercut structure with respect to the inner surface of the side surface part 4. The rear surface part 3 is similarly constituted of the integral molding of the carbon fiber short fiber reinforced resin.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a weak twisting deformation, reduce a bending deformation and an own weight bending at the time of mounting a thin-plate workpiece, and improve reception efficiency, by a method wherein a thin-plate workpiece conveying hand is formed of a fiber reinforcing plastic member and a metal. SOLUTION: In a conveying hand, a hand detect part 5 and a hand base part 7 are formed of a fiber reinforcing plastic part composed of a carbon fiber and a thermosetting resin. Further, a curve part 7 for joining the hand detent part 5 to the hand base part 6 is formed of a metal composed of an aluminum alloy, a titanium alloy and the like. A twisting stiffness which is a weak point for a thermosetting member composed of a carbon fiber and a thermosetting resin is reinforced. Accordingly, even in the conveying hand of any forms, it is possible to reduce an own weight and a deformation amount of bending when mounting a thin-plate workpiece. As the result, it is possible to remarkably decrease a thin-plate workpiece mounting pitch of a cassette.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an FRP plate which is little in disorder of fiber orientation in forming, little is warp and distortion irrespective of being thin, and excellent in physical properties by a method wherein a continuous fiber layer which contains properly arranged continuous fiber and of which a thickness is specified is provided, and a nonwoven layer is arranged on both sides. SOLUTION: A lamellar structure of a properly arranged fiber layer and a nonwoven layer is provided. A continuous fiber layer wherein its thickness after molding is within a range of 0.3-0.5mm, is provided, and the nonwoven layer is provided on its both sides. A unidirectional prepreg 2 is laid on the nonwoven 1 so that a direction of the continuous fiber to a standard axis 10 becomes a 0 deg. direction. Further, after laying a unidirectional prepreg 3 on the unidirectional prepreg 2 so as to become 90 deg. to the standard axis 10, air between the prepregs 2 and 3 is squeezed out with a roller like rotary material. Then, a nonwoven 4 is laid, which is pressed with the roller in the same way. After laying the prepregs 5, 6 in the same way, a nonwoven 7 is laid on the outermost layer.

Next moment, the peripheral edge part of the laminated product 8 is held to surface pressure higher than that of other part by a frame material 13 and lamination advances. A part other than the peripheral edge part is elastically deformed on the upper surface of the base material 5 in such a form that the fixed form material 11 conforms to the wall thickness change of a second base material and uniformly pressed in a state slightly lower than the peripheral edge part in surface pressure and lamination advances.
