Abstract: PURPOSE: A controlling method of a belt type continuously variable transmission for a vehicle compensates a target speed change ratio by the variation ratio of throttle opening angle on accelerating the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: According to the calculated variation ratio of throttle valve opening angle, whether a vehicle is accelerated or not is decided. If the vehicle is on accelerating, a compensation rpm(revolutions per minute) is compensated. If newly calculated compensation target input rpm is smaller than the previous compensation target input rpm, the newly calculated compensation target input rpm is compensated and the upper limit and lower limit of the compensation target input rpm are treated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A transmission controller and its control method are provided to improve the shift quality, to offer a soft riding comfort and to improve the shift efficiency by various shift maps. CONSTITUTION: A traveling state of a vehicle from a vehicle traveling state detector(10) and a reducing state of an engine torque from an engine torque reducing state detector(20) are checked. A shift controller(30) discriminates a gearshift lever when the reducing state of the engine torque is impossible. In a manual mode, the shift controller(30) selects a manual map of the impossible state from a memory and outputs a corresponding shift control signal into a driving device(50). Otherwise, the shift controller(30) selects a general automatic transmission control map of the impossible state and outputs a corresponding control signal into the driving device(50). The shift controller(30) checks the gearshift lever when the reducing of the engine torque is possible. In the manual mode, the shift controller(30) selects a shift map to reduce the engine torque. The shift controller(30) outputs a requesting signal of the engine torque reduction into an engine controller(40) and a corresponding shift control signal into the driving device(50). Otherwise, the shift controller(30) outputs the requesting signal of the engine torque reduction into an engine controller(40) and a corresponding shift control signal into the driving device(50) by selecting the general automatic shift control map.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A hydraulic control method of a damper clutch for an automatic transmission is provided to prevent the durability deterioration of a damping clutch when a duty control solenoid valve of a damper clutch is out of order, by subdividing an operating condition of a damping clutch and operating a damper clutch, as based on a slip of a torque converter. CONSTITUTION: A step is to be inputted the information of a vehicle. A step is to determine whether the combining control of a damper clutch is on progressing. A step is to determine whether the gear shifting step is the first speed when the combining control of a damper is not on progressing. A step is to determine whether the throttle open angle is over the fixed value when the gear shifting step is not the first speed. A step is to determine whether the slip calculated by the turbine speed and the engine speed is over the fixed value when the throttle open angle is over the fixed value. A step is to determine whether the gear shifting step is the first or the second speed when the slip is over the fixed value. A step is to determine whether the abnormal is generated in a solenoid valve when the gear shifting step is the first or the second speed. A step is to prevent the increase of speed when the abnormal is generated in a solenoid valve. A step is to determine whether the gear shifting step is the third or a fourth speed when the gear shifting step is not the first or the second speed. A step is to permit the increase of a fifth speed when the gear shifting step is the third or the firth speed. A step is to operate a damper clutch by switching-on a solenoid valve.
