    Abstract: La invencion se refiere al uso de polimeros solubles en agua o dispersables en agua como aditivos para detergentes. Los polimeros pueden obtenerse por reaccion de: (a) polialquilen poliaminas, poliamidoaminas o poliamidoaminas injertadas con etilenimina o mezclas de estos compuestos, (b) como se desee agentes reticuladores por lo menos bifuncionales, y (c) acido carboxilicos monoetilenicamente insaturados, sales, esteres, amidas o nitrilos de acidos carboxilicos monoetilenicamente insaturados, acidos clorocarboxilicos y/o compuestos glicidilo, los constituyentes (a) teniendo un peso molecular promedio Mw en el intervalo desde 20,000 hasta 2,000,000 y la relacion molar de los atomos de hidrogeno en el nitrogeno del constituyente (a) al constituyente (b) siendo entre 1:0.7 a 1:0.9, como aditivo para detergente de lavanderia.
