Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for synthesizing a polyamide, in which method an aqueous solution is sprayed onto the polyamide before and/or during a solid-state post-condensation process. The aqueous solution comprises at least a first compound, selected from the group comprising phosphoric acid, fully neutralized salts of phosphoric acid, partially neutralized salts of phosphoric acid, and mixtures thereof, and a second compound, selected from the group comprising an acid, an anhydride, a lactone, ammonia, an amine, and mixtures thereof, with the stipulation that the second compound is not phosphoric acid and is not phosphoric acid anhydride. The spraying occurs at a temperature that lies below the boiling point of water. A polyamide that can be produced by means of the method according to the invention can be used in particular to produce films, monofilaments, fibers, threads, or textile sheet materials.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing polyamides, comprising a hydrolytic polymerization and at least two extraction steps, which do not occur in direct succession.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing polyamides by polycondensing polyamide-forming, polycondensable monomers and/or oligomers in reaction mixtures containing said monomers and/or oligomers, which reaction mixtures can contain water but are free of organic solvents, in which method the polycondensation takes place in a reactor having a mixer while mixing is performed and occurs in the liquid phase in a first step and in the solid phase in a subsequent second step after a phase change occurring in the same reactor during the process, wherein the temperature in the reactor is below the melting point of the polyamide at least in the second step.

Abstract:
A continuous method for multi-staged drying and subsequent condensation of solid phase polyamide granulate is characterized in that 1) the pre-drying is carried out in a continuous drying apparatus operated in counter-flow or cross-flow mode with inert gas, steam or a mixture of inert gas and steam at a granulate temperature in the range of 70 to 200°C and 2) the subsequent continuous post-condensation is carried out in a separate shaft with a moving bed at a granulate temperature in the range of 120 to 210°C, wherein the shaft is operated in counter-flow mode with inert gas, steam or a mixture of inert gas and steam, the inert gas is fed at at least two points along the shaft, wherein 15 to 90% of the inert gas is fed at the base of the shaft and 10 to 85% of the inert gas is fed at the upper half below the granulate surface.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing dioxolane by reacting ethylene glycol (1) with formaldehyde in aqueous solution (2) in the presence of catalysts. Said method is characterized in that the reaction is carried out in a reactive distillation column (RDK). The educts ethylene glycol (1) and aqueous formaldehyde (2) are fed to the reactive distillation column (RDK) in the central zone thereof, and a flow (3) containing dioxolane is withdrawn from the top zone of the reactive distillation column (RDK) while a bottom flow (4) containing components that are high-boiling compared to dioxolane is withdrawn.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for producing trioxane and at least one comonomer for producing (co)polymers on a trioxane basis, in which, in a first step, formaldehyde and at least one comonomer starting material are reacted in aqueous solution to form trioxane and comonomer, wherein a reaction mixture A1 containing trioxane, comonomer, formaldehyde, water and if appropriate comonomer starting material is obtained. In a second step, the reaction mixture A1 is distilled in a first distillation stage at a first pressure, wherein a trioxane- and comonomer-enriched stream B1 and an essentially water-, formaldehyde- and if appropriate comonomer starting material-containing stream B2 are obtained. In a third step, the stream B1 is distilled in a second distillation stage at a pressure which is above the pressure of the first distillation stage, wherein a trioxane-, comonomer- and water-containing stream C1 and a product stream C2 essentially consisting of comonomer and trioxane are obtained.
