Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of a hermetically sealed electric compressor used in a refrigerator for home use without obstructing the radiation of heat and increasing its size. SOLUTION: This compressor is constituted in such a way that at least one or more recessed part 16a is provided and a shielding plate 16 provided with a fine hole 16b on a bottom of the recessed part 16a is provided by adhering closely on the inside of a sealed container 2. Consequently, radiation noise generated from the inside of the compressor due to resonance effect is absorbed to reduce noise without preventing the radiation of heat and increasing its size.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of a suction muffler of a hermetically sealed electric compressor and improve its capability and efficiency. SOLUTION: In this compressor, pressure wave reflected by a reflection wall 24 of a suction reflection pipe 25 of a suction connection pipe 23 returns to a suction port of the suction connection pipe 25. Consequently, pressure wave is returned to the vicinity of a suction hole of a valve plate to assist in opening a reed valve and improve refrigerant filling into a cylinder of refrigerant suctioned from a suction main pipe 27 and capability and efficiency of this compressor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosed type electric compressor for a house hold-use refrigerator with high efficiency and low noise performance by improving the intake efficiency of noise elimination effect of a suction muffler. SOLUTION: A suction muffler 17 is composed of two chambers 22, 23, a tail pipe 20, a communication pipe 24, and a suction pipe 25. The pipes 20, 24, 25 are arranged on a same plane with opposite openings inclined to be formed into a letter U shape. With the constitution, pressure wave is attenuated at two stages to thereby reduce the flow resistance of refregerant, resulting in improvement in the noise elimination characteristic and suction efficiency of the muffler 17.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position a small end part and a large end part of a connecting rod, and facilitate assembling by providing a dovetail groove and a dovetail part in the large end part and the small end part, and forming a locking surface being an assembling positioner to engage with only adjacent two sides of the dovetail part, in a part of an end surface of the dovetail groove. SOLUTION: A dovetail part 54 is arranged in an end part of a small end part 50 of a connecting rod, and a dovetail groove 55 is arranged in a large end part 52. A step difference 63 is formed over two sides or only on one side of the dovetail groove on an end surface of the dovetail groove 55, and a locking surface 64 being an assembling positioner as a result, is composed of this step difference 63. When fitting the dovetail part 54 and the dovetail groove 55, first of all, the rotational direction ζ is regulated by contacting the step difference 63 of the large end part 52 and an end surface 65 of the dovetail part 54 in a plane with each other. Next, the slidingly moving direction S of the small end part, the swinging direction B and the rotational direction α and θ of the large end part 52 are demarcated on the locking surface 64 by regulating adjacent two sides of the dovetail part 54, and both are set by moving the large end part 52 in the shaft direction up to a prescribed position. Next, a clamp member is pressed in, and assembling is completed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate the pulsation of pressure, prevent the transmission of vibration and reduce noise by a method wherein the trunk of a muffler is formed of a flexible material and both ends of the same are connected through a pipeline. SOLUTION: A muffler 6 is formed of a bellows type flexible trunk 17. Refrigerant, sucked into a compressor, is compressed and is discharged out of a refrigerant discharging pipeline 9 while accompanying the pulsation of pressure. Thereafter, the refrigerant is guided into the muffler 6 through a refrigerant inlet pipeline 15, then, the pulsation of pressure is attenuated by the sound attenuating effect of the muffler 6 and the refrigerant is guided into other refrigerating instruments after the muffler 6. Vibration, transmitted from the compressor, is transmitted to the refrigerant inlet pipeline 15 whereby the flexible trunk 17 is vibrated. The vibration is attenuated by the vibration attenuating effect of that time whereby the vibration will never be transmitted to the refrigerant outlet pipeline 16 substantially. According to this method, the noise of refrigerant, due to the pulsation of pressure and vibration, can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To accurately quantify the damage degree of a slide section without disassembling a machine by detecting the vibration wave-form generated from the slide section, removing noises from a voltage signal, converting the voltage signal into a digital signal, then wave-form-processing the feature of the signal. CONSTITUTION: The vibration component generated from the slide section of a rotary machine such as a compressor 1 used for a refrigerating device is detected by a sensor 3 installed at one position of a four-point weld section 2, converted into the voltage signal, amplified, and recorded in a wave-form recording device 5. The noise component is removed from the voltage signal by a BPF 6, and the voltage signal is converted 7 into the digital signal and inputted to a wave-form processor 8. The amplitude size and fluctuation degree of a shock wave indicating the damage degree of the slide section are quantified by DSP in the wave-form processor 8, the damage degree of each slide section is judged based on the data base showing the correspondence between the calculated result and damage degree, and the judged result is displayed 9 and recorded 10. The damage degree of the machine slide section can be quantitatively grasped while the compressor 1 is not disassembled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the noise accurately and economically by outputting previously processed sound-wave signals from a wave pattern generator according to detected signals of a sound receiver to operate a sounding device. CONSTITUTION:Noise level in a machine room 12 of a compressor 13 has properties of increasing in a band less than about 600Hz and a band of 1-5KHz, and in the noises corresponding to these bands, the noise of high frequency is reduced by a machine room cover 1 7 and a partition plate 18, etc., due to sound transmission loss, and can be deadened by a sound absorbing member provided in the machine room 12. Standing waves of the noise below target frequency have an effect only by the mode of cross direction, and are regarded as one- dimensional plane traveling waves. Therefore, this noise is detected by a microphone 19, and sound-wave signals previously made by the noise reduction principle of active control according to this signal pattern from a wave pattern generator 20 to activate a speaker 21 and to interfere in the target frequency noise, resulting in reducing the noise accurately without using an expensive computing unit.
