    Abstract: An apparatus for vibrating biological sample tubes rapidly, comprises a support plate (22) for the tubes (24) which is suspended on a fixed section (10) of the apparatus using a deformable, resilient component (28). The central part of the suspension is fixed to the plate and connected to the driver (12, 16, 20) and a peripheral part attached to the fixed section of the apparatus. A variant is included. The central part of the suspension contains the center of rotation (34) of the plate. The suspension is essentially planar and perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the plate, and comprises an elastomeric washer. This is vulcanized onto an axial termination for attachment to the fixed part. The peripheral part of the washer is vulcanized onto a liaison ring on the plate. The drive is an eccentric (16, 18) driven around a vertical axis passing through the center of rotation and connected to the plate by a bearing. The plate has circular containers holding the sample tubes in a regular distribution around the center of rotation.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a machine and a method for automatically restoring cinematographic films comprising connections produced by adhesive tapes, by unwinding the film in front of means (28) detecting the connections, stopping the unwinding, holding the film on either side of the detected connection with clips (30), cutting the film in the middle of the connection, eliminating the bits of adhesive tape, cleaning the film and fixing a new connection, then proceeding with the unwinding, eliminating with means (34) the overlapping lateral portions of the new connection and visually controlling the new connections with means (36). The invention enables to automatically restore films comprising connections consisting of adhesive tape.
