An apparatus and a method for supporting a relay service in a wireless telecommunications system are provided to improve the efficiency of a communication system and minimize insufficient resource by confirming an upper node about unused resources. It confirms whether a terminal operates in a charge mode(301). A relay service supporting request requests an upper node in case of being operated as a charge mode(305). The relay service request is accepted in the upper node(307). A signal transmitted and received between the upper node and lower node.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for retransmission in a wireless telecommunication system are provided to shorten a transmission delay time by reducing a retransmission number of a retransmission packet. An apparatus for retransmission in a wireless telecommunication system includes a processing group(200), a retransmission channel allocation unit(210), a parallel/serial converter(220), a channel allocation unit(230), and a channel state checking unit(240). The processing group performs transmission and retransmission of a packet provided from an upper stage. The retransmission channel allocation unit allocates a channel for a retransmission packet provided from the processing group if a channel used by a transmitting stage is changed. The parallel/serial converter converts the parallel packets received from the retransmission channel allocation unit into serial packets. The channel allocation unit selects the channel to be used by the transmitting stage according to channel information provided from the channel state checking unit. The channel state checking unit checks the channel information between the transmitting stage and a receiving stage and provides the channel information to the channel allocation unit and the retransmission channel allocation unit.

A method and an apparatus for transceiving signals in a communication system are provided to enable each user to select an optimum base station communication service mode by adaptively operating plural wireless access techniques optimized to plural communication service modes, thereby providing a terminal with association of ABS(Always Best Serviced)-ABC(Always Best Connected). A base station(400) comprises a reference signal generator(405), a broadcasting channel information generator(410), a transmission time controller(415) and a physical channel mapping unit(420). The reference signal generator respectively generates reference signals by an anchor service mode and a communication mode capable of being provided by the base station, and transmits the generated reference signals to the physical channel mapping unit. The broadcasting channel information generator generates broadcasting channel information to be transmitted to the physical channel mapping unit. The transmission time controller controls timing of the physical channel mapping unit to transmit the reference signal and the broadcasting channel information to a corresponding terminal. The physical channel mapping unit multiplexes the reference signal and the broadcasting channel information in an idle period by a communication service mode according to control of the transmission time controller. Therefore, the physical channel mapping unit configures a transmitting signal.

An apparatus and a method for interference cancellation in a broadband wireless communication system are provided to confirm presence or absence of a neighboring cell interference signal by independently configuring resource allocation information of an interference cancellation resource zone, thereby reducing loads of a terminal by performing the interference cancellation only when interference exists and accordingly improving receiving performance. When allocating resources of an interference cancellation zone to a predetermined terminal, resource allocation information of the interference cancellation zone of neighboring cells is collected(207). Interference cancellation zone resource allocation information for the terminal including the interference cancellation zone resource allocation information of the neighboring cells is generated. After that, the interference cancellation zone resource allocation information is transmitted to the terminal(213).

An apparatus and a method for reducing interference signals in a MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output) system are provided to obtain the maximum diversity gain by selecting an antenna group matrix having the maximum SINR(Signal to Interference Noise Ratio) and executing precoded space-time block coding. A receiving unit in a MIMO system which uses a precoded space-time block coding scheme comprises a channel estimator and a feedback controller(109). The channel estimator estimates the channel of a signal received from a transmitting unit. The feedback controller comprises an antenna group matrix creation part(201), a channel state confirmation part, and an antenna group matrix selection part(205). The antenna group matrix creation part creates group matrixes of antennas installed in the transmitting unit. The channel state confirmation part confirms the channel state of each of the antenna group matrixes. The antenna group matrix selection part selects an antenna group matrix showing the best channel state and feeds information about the selected antenna group matrix back to the transmitting unit.
Abstract:
A method for fabricating a TFT substrate is provided to avoid a skew phenomenon of a source/drain electrode by forming the source/drain electrode by a dry etch process. A gate interconnection, a gate insulation layer, an active layer, a conductive layer for a data interconnection, and a photoresist pattern composed of first and second regions are sequentially formed on an insulation substrate(10). By using the photoresist pattern as an etch mask, the conductive layer for the data interconnection is etched to form a conductive pattern for a source/drain electrode(65,66) and a data line(62). By using the photoresist pattern as an etch mask, the active layer is etched to form an active layer pattern. The second region of the photoresist pattern is removed. By employing etch gas and using the photoresist pattern as an etch mask, the conductive layer pattern for the source/drain electrode under the second region is dry-etched. A part of the active layer pattern is etched by using the photoresist pattern as an etch mask. Reaction byproducts of the conductive layer pattern for the source/drain electrode are physically removed by a reaction byproducts removing agent so that external force is applied to the etch gas and the reaction byproducts. The photoresist pattern is stripped, and a passivation layer(70) and a pixel electrode are formed.

A relay system in a communication system and a method thereof are provided to suggest a pilot sequence in accordance with simultaneous transmission relay, thereby reducing a channel estimation error of an MS(Mobile Station) by using the pilot sequence, consequently performance of the simultaneous transmission relay is available. A BS(Base Station)(311) generates a pilot sequence and a pilot sequence in which a partial mutual correlation value of the pilot sequence retransmitted by being delayed by an RS(Relay Station)(313) is always 0, and transmits the generated pilot sequences. The RS(313) transmits the pilot sequences by relaying the pilot sequences to an MS(315), so as to carry out simultaneous transmission relay.

A relay system in a communication system and a method thereof are provided to use a simultaneous transmission relay method with which at least two transmitters simultaneously transmit signals in one time slot, and to use a pilot sequence, thus simultaneous transmission relay is available by reducing a channel estimation error. A BS(Base Station)(311) generates the first pilot sequence to transmit the generated first pilot sequence. An RS(Relay Station)(313) removes the received first pilot sequence, and generates the second pilot sequence at a location of the first pilot sequence to transmit the generated second pilot sequence. A partial mutual correlation value between the first pilot sequence and the second pilot sequence is always 0.
