Abstract: PURPOSE: A hydraulic controller of an automatic transmission is provided to prevent the no-load state of an engine by delaying the line pressure at a specific pressure via a first line, to exclude the shift shock, and to compact the structure of a valve body by reducing the number of check balls and lands. CONSTITUTION: An orifice(Or1) is installed on a first line(L1) communicating with a first clutch(C1) and a switch valve(10) connected in the D(Drive) range. A check ball(CB1) is installed on a second line(L2) diversified from the first line. The check ball is connected with the switch valve via a fourth line(L4). The switch valve is connected with a pressure control valve(14) via a fifth line(L5). The fifth line is selectively communicated with an exhaust port(EX) with response to the operation of the pressure control valve. In speed change from D range to R(Reverse) range, the line pressure applied to the first clutch is released to the second line via the first line. Then, the check ball is opened, and the initial flow rate is released rapidly. If the pressure in the first clutch is balanced with the force of a spring, the check ball is closed. The released pressure in the first clutch is sustained for a specific time.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A line pressure control system for an automatic transmission is provided to form line pressure stably by a regulator valve, to cut down expenses by simplifying the structure, and to improve freedom of design by reducing the length of the system. CONSTITUTION: A line pressure control system of an automatic transmission is composed of a regulator valve(23) controlling line pressure(f) according to P,N,D,3,2 and L-ranges by receiving hydraulic pressure from an oil pump(21). The oil pump generates hydraulic pressure with driving in actuating an engine. The regulator valve controls line pressure with balance between the resultant force of variable control pressure(g) and an elastic member(25) and the resultant force of line pressure and P,N,D,3,2 and L range pressure(h). Variable control pressure is controlled by a solenoid valve(27), and line pressure is operated in driving the oil pump. Line pressure is regulated stably, and expenses are reduced with simple structure.

CONSTITUTION: A lubrication control system for an automatic transmission is composed of a torque converter control valve(15) controlling hydraulic pressure from an oil pump with a regulator valve(9) and receiving hydraulic pressure from the regulator valve; a damper clutch control valve(17) supplying and discharging hydraulic pressure from the torque converter control valve through the torque converter to a cooler(33) according to operation of the damper clutch; and a lubricant adjusting valve(35) receiving hydraulic pressure from the cooler by the oil pump, and supplying oil to front and rear lubricant parts. The endurance is improved by sufficiently supplying oil to the lubricant part of the transmission.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fail safe hydraulic system of an automatic transmission is provided to realize a safe travel by preventing the occurrence of interlock in a power train regardless of the sticking position of a valve spool. CONSTITUTION: A second clutch(C2) and a first brake(B1) are supplied with the output pressure of a C2/B1 control valve(52) controlled by a C2/B1 control solenoid valve(50). The output pressure of the C2/B1 control valve is switched to two paths by a C2/B1 switch valve(54). One of the paths is communicated with the second clutch via a first fail safe valve(56) while the other path is communicated with the first brake via a second fail safe valve(58). The hydraulic pressure supplied to the second clutch is discharged via the C2/B1 switch valve and the fist fail safe valve. The hydraulic pressure supplied to the first brake is discharged via the C2/B1 control valve and the second fail safe valve. The output pressure of a C1 control valve(62) is applied to a first clutch via two paths. One of the paths is communicated with a first clutch(C1). The other path operates as a control pressure to second and third fails safe valves(58,64) and supplies hydraulic pressure to a first friction element via a first shuttle valve. Then, first and second brake pressures are released. The first brake pressure generated in the C2/B1 switch valve is supplied only when the second fail safe valve is switched over.
