    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biaxially oriented polyester film having excellent molding fabrication property, shock resistance and beauty in appearance, and suitable as a material for molding fabrication by using a polyester having a melting point in a specific range as the main constituting component, and specifying the breaking elongations in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction so that they satisfy a specific relation. SOLUTION: The objective film is obtained by using a polyester having a melting point of 210-280 deg.C as the main constituting component, and specifying the breaking elongation (%) in the longitudinal direction and that (%) in the lateral direction so that the following relation is satisfied (S1+S2)/2>=300%, here S1 and S2 are the values of the breaking elongation in the longitudinal direction and that in the lateral direction, respectively, when their sum becomes maximum determined at 20 deg.C to (melting point-60) deg.C. The film is fabricated by itself or in a laminar constitution with a nonmetal material (e.g. nonwoven fabric). The polyester is preferably obtained by polycondensing a dicarboxylic acid component (e.g. terephthalic acid) and a glycol component (e.g. ethylene glycol), and its intrinsic viscosity is preferably 0.5-1.5 g/dl.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject stockings having excellent feeling of wearing by placing a synthetic resin, whose hygroscopicity is adjusted in a specified range by compounding a hygroscopic component on fiber surfaces in an essentially unexposed state, at least on a part of the stockings. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin, whose hygroscopicity ΔMR is increased up to >=2.5% by compounding a hygroscopic component such as a polyetheresteramide on fiber surfaces in an essentially unexposed state, is placed on e.g. the leg parts 3 of stockings. This is realized by winding the synthetic resin of a shape of a filament as a covering yarn of a polyurethane elastic yarn of a core yarn and knitting it into the leg part 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To produce a woven or a knitted fabric having a high class feeling rich in a lightweight feeling, an unconventional hempen dry touch feeling, body, stiffness and surface feeling. CONSTITUTION: This woven or knitted polyester fabric comprises polyester fibers and at least >=30wt.% fibers constituting the woven or knitted fabric contain hollow fibers satisfying the following (1) to (3): (1) =7% difference between the maximum and the minimum percentages of hollowness; (2) >=1.5 average degree of modified cross section randomly distributed in the fiber cross section and (3) grooves formed on the fiber surfaces.
