CONSTITUTION:This multilayer substrate is formed on the surface of a fiber sheet which is formed by impregnating a resin composition, which is mainly composed of poly-p-phenylene sulfide, by laminating a circuit substrate consisting of an electric circuit of metal layer formed through the intermediary of a resin composition layer consisting of copolymer polyphenylene sulfide containing one or more kinds of copolymer unit other than a p-phenylene sulfide unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction of low voltage breakdown frequency and the enhancement of self-healing properties and humidity resistance by setting the sum thickness of surface layers each composed of a polyester film to a specific % range with respect to the thickness of a center layer made of a biaxially oriented film made of poly-p-phenylene sulfide represented by a specific structural formula. CONSTITUTION:A polyphenylene sulfide laminated film is obtained by laminating surface layers (A-layers) each composed of a polyester film on both surfaces of a center layer (B-layer) composed of a biaxially oriented film of poly-p- phenylene sulfide wherein 70mol% or more of a repeating unit is represented by formula I. The sum thickness of the A-layers is set to 30-50% of the thickness of the B-layer and the intrinsic viscosity of polyester is set to 0.62 or more. This polyphenylene sulfide laminated film is reduced in low voltage breakdown frequency and improved in self-healing properties and humidity resistance at the time of the application of voltage and a condenser constant in capacity over a side temp. range and enhanced in reliability can be produced using said film.

CONSTITUTION:A condenser composite polyester film is formed by providing a sub-layer made of a polyolefin resin, a polyester resin, or the like on a main layer made of a polyester by a composite fusion extrusion method or the like. At this time, a relation between a surface resistivity Rs(B) under a high- temperature and moist condition at 80 deg.C and 90% RH in the state of only the main layer and a surface resistivity Rs(A) under the same condition in the state of the composite film is determined to be Rs(A)/Rs(B)>1.0. Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester excellent in dispersion of inert particles and capable of giving a fiber or a film at good productivity by performing specified treatment after substantially completing the transesterification reaction in producing the polyester from an aromatic dicarboxylic ester and a glycol. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing a polyester from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid ester (e.g. dimethyl terephthalate) and a glycol (e.g. ethylene glycol), which comprises adding, after the transesterification reaction is substantially completed, 0.5-5.0mol, per mol of the acid component, of a glycol to the reaction product without substantially distilling it from the reaction system, raising the temperature in the reaction system to 150-200 deg.C, and adding a glycol slurry of particles (e.g. colloidal silica) inert to the polyester in the same reaction temperature range.

CONSTITUTION:A polyester composition is obtained by mixing a polyester comprising an acid component and a glycol component, wherein said acid component contains a lithium sulfonate groupcontaining isophthalic acid component in an amount satisfying formula I (wherein [SI] is the molar percentage, based on the total acid component, of the total sulfonate group-containing isophthalic acid component contained in the polyester composition), with Li atoms other than those contained in the lithium sulfonate group-containing isophthalic acid in an amount satisfying formula II (wherein [Li] is the molar percentage, based on the total acid component, of the total Li atoms contained in the polyester composition The above composition not only has improved adhesiveness but also is satisfactory in antistatic properties and transparency, and therefore the adhesion of dirts, dusts, etc., is little.
