Abstract: Some aspects include a method for operating a robot in a workspace, including: capturing, with an image sensor, image data of the workspace including objects within the workspace as the robot moves within the workspace; identifying, with a processor of the robot, at least one characteristic in the image data, wherein the at least one characteristic comprises one of: an edge, a shape, and a color; determining, with the processor, an object type of an object; and instructing, with the processor, the robot to execute at least one action based on the at least one characteristic, wherein the at least one action comprises one of: driving along a modified path and driving around the object.

Abstract: An evacuation station for collecting debris from a cleaning robot includes a controller configured to execute instructions to perform one or more operations. The one or more operations includes initiating an evacuation operation such that an air mover draws air containing debris from the cleaning robot, through an intake of the evacuation station, and through a canister of the evacuation station and such that a receptacle received by the evacuation station receives at least a portion of the debris drawn from the cleaning robot. The one or more operations includes ceasing the evacuation operation in response to a pressure value being within a range. The pressure value is determined based at least in part on data indicative of an air pressure, and the range is set based at least in part on a number of evacuation operations initiated before the evacuation operation.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cleaner station that has a coupling structure in which a dust collector cover is closed by coupling a dust collector. The cleaner station includes a docking unit where a cleaner climbs and is docked; and a station body configured to be connected to one side of the docking unit and sucks dust within a dust bin of the cleaner. The station body includes: a dust collector configured to collect the dust; a dust collector cover that is openable and closeable such that the dust collector enters and exits; and a rotation protrusion of which a portion is exposed to the outside. Accordingly, the dust collector cover can be closed only when the dust collector is coupled, so that a user is able to intuitively recognize whether the dust collector is coupled.

Abstract: A cleaning station for a mobile robot includes a fluid vessel and a roller arranged in the fluid vessel. The fluid vessel is shaped to hold a cleaning fluid that at least partially submerges the roller. The cleaning station includes a control system configured to, when the mobile robot is docked at the cleaning station, cause rotation of the roller to direct cleaning fluid from the fluid vessel to a cleaning pad of the mobile robot in order to release debris from the cleaning pad.

Abstract: A patient warming system for stabilizing and/or heating and cooling a patient includes a plurality of solid-surface sections arranged for attachment to a surgical table and a warming pad layer comprising a plurality of warming pads configured for removable connection to the plurality of solid-surface sections. At least one of the plurality of solid-surface sections includes a power connector for connection to an external power source. Each warming pad of the plurality of warming pads includes a foam insulation layer, a distributed heating element layer having a warming-pad power connection for connection to the power connector, an isothermal layer, and a flexible waterproof layer. Power supplied to the warming-pad power connection of the distributed heating element layer of the respective warming pad can be used to provide a user-selected uniform temperature over the surface of the flexible waterproof layer in order to prevent hot spots.
