본 발명은 재활의 기초적인 운동인 보행 운동과, 풀리 운동 및 슬링 운동을 하나의 장치에서 구현할 수 있는 전자동 보행 재활 장치에 관한 것으로, 실내 천장에 설치되며 레일이 형성되는 프레임과, 상기 레일에 이동 가능하게 결합되는 결합 부재와, 상기 결합 부재의 단부에 회동 가능하게 결합되며 상기 레일에서 상기 결합 부재의 이동을 단속시키는 스토퍼와, 상기 결합 부재의 하측에 설치되는 몸체 부재를 포함하는 본체와, 상기 몸체 부재의 하측에 연결되는 안착부와, 상기 몸체 부재의 양단에 설치되는 한 쌍의 휠과, 상기 한 쌍의 휠에 걸쳐지는 로프 부재와, 상기 로프 부재의 하단에 결합되는 거치 부재를 포함하는 보조 운동부 및 상기 몸체 부재 내부에 회동 가능하게 결합되며 단부가 상기 로프 부재에 접촉되는 클램프와, 상기 클램프 및 스토퍼에 연결되며 상기 클램프 및 스토퍼의 회동 동작을 제어하는 조절바를 포함하는 조절부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

A massage mitt 10 comprises a main body portion with an interior volume 16, a convex upper surface 14 which in use overlies the back of the hand and a concave lower surface 12 which overlies the palm of the hand. Both surfaces support a plurality of nodules (18, 28, 36, figure 1). The glove may have a ventilating cut-out region (38, figure 3) with a reticulated support structure 40 holding the periphery 42 in a fixed position. Reinforcing elements 54 (50, 52, 58, figures 7, 8) which, in use, maintain the user's hand in a neutral, ergonomic position, comprise an integrally formed element 54 extending from a wrist region 56 onto the lower surface portion 12, and a region of increased thickness (50, figure 8) along the outside of the user's thumb. Preferably, the mitt 10 is manufactured from silicone or EVA rubber having a Shore hardness of about 35A.

The invention is a fully portable self-treatment medical device that replicates manual long axis traction of the hip joint for relief of a wide range of hip joint disorders. The device includes an ankle brace, a door chink fastening mechanism and a fastening point that allows the user to perform hip traction treatments in a home environment or while travelling without the need for third party assistance.

A vibration device 10 includes top plate assembly 12 defining cavity 27 therein that is configured and dimensioned to receive actuator plate 19 such that the actuator plate 19 is in direct contact with the top plate assembly 12. The actuator plate 19 transmits thereby a vibration signal represented by an oscillating vibratory force to the top plate assembly 12 to operate the oscillating vibration device. Vibration device 10 further includes base plate assembly 14 for the vibration device 10. The top plate assembly 12 is configured and dimensioned to be mounted on the base plate assembly 14. The base plate assembly 14 includes actuator mounting assembly 20 that is configured to receive actuator 50 generating a vibration signal represented by an oscillating vibratory force. A method of operating the oscillating vibration device 10 includes transmitting a vibration signal represented by an oscillating vibratory force to foot plate assembly 12.

A portable spa assembly is provided comprising a pool (502) having an enclosing wall (512), where the wall further includes at least one channel formed to be in fluid communication with the interior of the pool. A pump unit, preferably formed as a self-contained modular unit, is received inside the channel in removable manner. The pump unit comprises a jet nozzle (524), which when mounted with the pump unit (504) in the channel is directed into the interior (532) of the pool. Several channels (512) can be provided in spaced apart manner along the enclosing wall (512) so as to allow the user to inject water from the pump at selected locations.
