The invention relates to a floor spring comprising a housing for receiving a closing mechanism, said housing being protected by a housing cover (1a), the latter supporting a shaft of the closing mechanism that bears a door or similar. The aim of the invention is to provide a floor spring, which despite its flat construction guarantees a faultless operation. To achieve this, at least one peripheral section of the housing cover (1a) has a projecting edge (2, 3) for reinforcement.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation space for an apparatus having a carriage holding a partition element and traveling in a rail by reducing the size of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus used for holding the partition element 6, specifically, a glass panel, comprises the carriage 1, a carriage body 11 and at least one wheel 124, 125 rolling on a travel surface 231 of the rail 2. The carriage is removably connected with an attachment element 3 connected with the partition element. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling unit having a reduced weight and manufactured simply and inexpensively. SOLUTION: The traveling unit 1 has at least one traveling member, e.g., a magnet, a traveling wheel 12 and/or a sliding member retained by a member having opposite magnetic polarity or supported on a traveling face of a rail. The rail comprises a center section and two or two side sections each having a leg member when needed. The traveling face is provided on the top side of the leg member. The traveling unit 1 is provided with one or two traveling unit sections. The traveling unit sections can be engaged in the opposing side faces 4a, 4b of a plate 4 with a fixing means 2, or one of the traveling unit sections can be guided into a groove recessed in the top side of the plate 4 between the side faces 4a, 4b so that the unit sections are brought into contact with the plate 4 or fixed inside it with the fixing means 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive magnet-operated linear motor for automatic door wherein the thrust of the motor is variable. SOLUTION: An installation portion 6 where coils units 11 can be installed in two parallel rows is formed in a motor case 2. The thrust of the motor can be varied depending on the number of coil units 11 installed in the installation portion 6. Therefore, it is unnecessary to vary the specification of the coil unit 11 depending on the type or scale of an automatic door apparatus, and since the thrust of the motor can be adjusted depending on the number of installed coils 11 of identical specifications, a manufacturing cost is reduced.
