Abstract:
A device for receiving and transporting objects with a through hole consists of a base frame and of a container body in two parts (7, 8) that may be interconnected. One of the front openings fits over the rear of the other part of the container, so that its volume is reduced and it may be stored. A special transport pallet is designed to receive four such devices with or without their content.
Abstract:
A device (5) for receiving and transporting objects, in particular strip- or ribbon-shaped materials wound into spools (30), has a base frame with at least one swivelling stay (8) and axes (9) mounted thereon for receiving the objects. Supporting brackets (10-13) provided on the base frame act as standing and if required protecting means. The receiving axes (9) and supporting brackets (10-13) may be swivelled from a compact rest position into a stable working and transport position. The device (5) is simple and economic to produce in series and may be used both in manufacturing and in overland transport. The device is useful for all sorts of wound strip- or ribbon-shaped objects and for all sorts of perforated disks or the like.
Abstract:
In a recording substrate in a casing with an aperture temporarily covered by a movable closure, the latter is made of polyacetal with under 0.1 % wt lubricant. This closure may be used for any kind of recording substrate, especially magnetic media with a closable casing aperture and cassettes with closable frontal apertures.
Abstract:
A quadrangular packaging container in one or several pieces for stacked tape-like recording media is disclosed. The tape-like recording media are wound on cores provided with inner bores (3). The packaging container has a bottom (1), a lid (2) and lateral parts (19) interconnected by injection-moulded film-hinges (24). A stay (14) for the cores may be pushed through the inner bores of the winding cores (13).
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette is designed with a casing elevation. The usual two-part casing of such a cassette is simulated by substantially flat casing parts connected to at least one third separate casing part, which is able to be suitably connected to the flat casing parts. The improvement in the position of the tape-guiding elements can be achieved for all types of comparable cassettes.

PCT No. PCT/EP93/02860 Sec. 371 Date Feb. 13, 1995 Sec. 102(e) Date Feb. 13, 1995 PCT Filed Oct. 16, 1993 PCT Pub. No. WO94/09990 PCT Pub. Date May 11, 1994An anticopying film or layer consists of a film or of a layer of transparent material having a large number of completely or partially nontransparent regions which are arranged distances apart and whose planes are arranged in about the same predetermined position relative to the surfaces of the film or of the layer so that, from a predetermined viewing angle onto the surfaces of the anticopying film, the latter is essentially transparent. The regions consist at least partially of photosensitive material which is converted by the action of radiation into nontransparent or reflecting material, it also being possible to provide, in the transparent plastics material, furrows or grooves in which the photosensitive material is present.
Abstract:
In magnetic recording media consisting of a nonmagnetic substrate and at least one magnetizable layer firmly applied thereon and based on magnetic material dispersed in a binder mixture which contains at least one hydroxyl-containing, preferably low molecular weight polyureaurethane and one polyurethaneurea (meth)acrylate, the polyurethaneurea (meth)acrylate is obtained by reacting a poly(meth)acrylate having up to 2 terminal OH groups per mol and a molecular weight of from 200 to 50,000 with a mixture of aliphatic polyisocyanates having an average functionality of from 3.0 to 6.0 NCO groups per mol, consisting of from 0.1 to 10% by weight of a diisocyanate, from 30 to 80% by weight of a triisocyanate and from 20 to 60% by weight of an isocyanate having a functionality of from 4 to 10, with the proviso that from 1.2 to 3.0 NCO groups react per OH group and the remaining NCO groups are converted into substituted terminal urea groups with a polyfunctional amine or with a mixture of different polyfunctional amines.
Abstract:
The invention relates to acicular, ferromagnetic, ferriferous and cobaltiferrous pigments which contain per 100 mol of the molar sum of iron and cobalt, 5 to 20 mol of cobalt, 1 to 5 mol of aluminium, 3 to 10 mol of silicon, 0.7 to 3.5 mol of phosphorus, and oxygen, the sum of the parts by weight of the elements iron, cobalt, aluminium, silicon, phosphorus and oxygen being 95 to 100 % by weight of the total weight of the pigments. The ferromagnetic pigments can also be used to prepare magnetic recording materials.
