    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare the subject compsn. excellent in moldability and also in the resistances to heat, chemicals, and impact by compounding a specific graft copolymer, a polyolefin, and a specific polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective compsn. is prepd. by compounding a graft copolymer (A) obtd. by grafting 95-20 pts.wt. monomer mixture comprising 20-90wt.% arom. vinyl monomer, 80-10wt.% vinyl cyanide and/or alkyl unsatd. carboxylate monomer, and 0-40wt.% another copolymerizable vinyl monomer onto 5-80 pts.wt. rubberlike polymer, a polyolefin (B), and a copolymer (C) obtd. by copolymerizing vinyl acetate with at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of ethylene, propylene, a vinyl monomer, and a monomer copolymerizable with these monomers in wt. ratios of A/B and 85/15 and 1/100 to 30/100, respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent permanent antistatic properties, mechanical characteristics and corrosion resistance of metal, comprising a polyamide elastomer, a styrenic thermoplastic resin, a modified vinyl-based polymer and a polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. total amounts of (A) 1-40 pts.wt. polyether ester amide or polyether amide, (B) 98-5 pts.wt. styrenic thermoplastic resin (preferably HI-PS resin or ABS resin), (C) 0-50 pts.wt. modified vinyl-based polymer containing 0.1-20 pts.wt. one or more functional groups selected from carboxyl group, epoxy group, amino group, hydroxyl group, polyalkylene oxide group and a catalyst thereof, (D) 1-90 pts.wt. polyamide resin, preferably nylon 66 having 1.1-5 relative viscosity, preferably further (E) 0.01-10 pts.wt. inorganic salt (preferably alkaline earth metal salt or hydrotalcite) selected from alkali alkaline earth) metal, transition metal and aluminum metal.

CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises 96.4-30wt.% thermoplastic polyester, 3-60wt.% rubber-reinforced graft polymer obtd. by grafting 100 pts.wt. monomer component consisting of 50-100wt.% arom. vinyl monomer and 50-0wt.% vinyl cyanide monomer onto 10-85 pts.wt. nondiene rubber, 0-40wt.% vinyl polymer obtd. by polymerizing a vinyl monomer of formula I (wherein R1 is H or lower alkyl; and R2 is phenyl, cyano, or a 1-10C alkyl ester group), 0.1-40wt.% vinyl polymer which has glycidyl ester groups and is obtd. by copolymerizing 99.95-40wt.% vinyl monomer of formula I with 0.05-60wt.% vinyl monomer of formula II (wherein R3 is R1) having a glycidyl ester group, and 0.5-20wt.% polyester elastomer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject thermostable, transparent and chemical-resistant copolymer by initiating water-based suspension polymerization of vinyl cyanide and part of an aromatic vinylic monomer and comonomer with a specific polymerization initiator, adding the remainder of the aromatic vinyl compound while increasing the temperature and then completing the polymerization. CONSTITUTION:(A) The total amount of a vinyl cyanide-based monomer, (B) part of an aromatic vinylic monomer and (C) the total amount of a copolymerizable monomer are initially charged to initiate water-based suspension polymerization in the presence of a polymerization initiator having =95% to complete the polymerization. Thereby, the objective copolymer composed of 40-80wt.% component (A), 60-20wt.% component (B) and 0-20wt.% component (C) is obtained.
