Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schwenkschiebetür für Fahrzeuge mit einem Türflügel (3), wobei Antriebsvorrichtungen (2) sowie Querführungsvorrichtungen (4, 5) und Längsfüh rungsvornchtungen (7) vorgesehen sind, die eine Bewegung des mindestens einen Türflügels (3) quer zu der Fahrzeugwand und entlang der Fahrzeugwand ermöglichen und wobei sich die Längsführungsvorrichtungen mittels der Querführungsvorrichtungen in Querrichtung bewegen. Die Tür wird dabei in der geschlossenen Lage durch einen Schwenkteil (10), der in eine Führung (12) eingreift, gegen ungewolltes Öffnen verriegelt. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schwenkteil (10) einen Fühmngsteil (1 1) aufweist, der mit einer Führung (12) zusammenwirkt, und dass die Führung in dem Bereich, in dem der Schwenkteil (10) in der geschlossenen Lage der Tür mit ihr zusammenwirkt, einen Kreisbogenabschnitt (12b) um die momentane Lage der Drehachse (9) des Schwenkteiles (10) aufweist.

A method of aligning a door operating system for operating an upwardly acting door including an operator that directly interrelates with a counterbalance assembly in the door operating system to move the door, where the operator is at least partially supported on the counterbalance assembly, loosely attaching the operator to a header adjacent the door, and, moving the door from a closed position to an open position and returning the door to the closed position to achieve alignment. Once aligned, the operator is securely attached to the header to maintain the system's alignment.

An upwardly acting sectional door (24), including a plurality of panels (40), body portions (50) of the panels constructed of a flexible polymeric material and having a front surface (55), a cladding (80) covering the front surface of the body portions and having hooks (83, 84) at the upper and lower edges thereof, a hinge member (51) at an edge of the body portion operatively engaging the hooks of adjacent of the panels to provide relative pivotal motion between adjacent panels. Another embodiment is an upwardly acting sectional pan door (224) including, a plurality of panels (240), facers (250) of the panels defining a front surface of the door and having cooperatively engaging couplers (270) at the upper and lower edges thereof, stiles (280) at the ends of the facers receiving and attached to the facers, and hinge assemblies (290) located at the end stiles to provide relative pivotal motion between the stiles and the couplers of adjacent panels.

A system for raising and lowering a sectional overhead door between an open position and a closed position including, a counterbalance system adapted to be connected to the door, an operator motor assembly mounted proximate to the sectional overhead door in the closed position of the sectional overhead door, at least a portion of the operator motor assembly movable between a door operating position and a door locking position, and a locking assembly (370) having an engaged position to hold the motor assembly in the operating position and a disengaged position to release the motor assembly allowing it to move to the door locking position. The system may be provided with a remote light assembly having a switchable light source in sensing communication with the operator motor such that operation of the motor activates the light source. The system is further provided with a handle assembly (515) operatively engaging the motor assembly (40) and counterbalance system (30) to selectively disconnect the motor assembly (40) from the counterbalance system (30), whereby urging of a rotatable handle (516) to a disconnect position (516') allows the door (D) to be manually freely moveable with the aid of the counterbalance system (30).
Abstract:
A garage door operator which senses obstructions and takes corrective action before entrapment can occur. Yieldable gears (40, 42) are utilized as a failsafe mechanism such that when the applied torque exceeds certain limit, the gears (40, 42) disengage so that the garage door can be manually moved. The yieldable gears may also be disengaged by remote control or by hand. Solid state circuitry (90) is provided to achieve soft starts and stops of the electric motor (15). Test circuitry is provided that tests the operational readiness of the electrical components by simulating an abnormal torque condition. During operation of the electric motor (15), the torque load is electronically calculated and if an abnormal torque load is encountered, the electric motor (15) reverses direction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage which includes a drive device and a separation device and in which separation elements can be moved more conveniently. SOLUTION: This carriage 1 provided for the separation device includes a carriage body 102 with at least one moving wheel 21 movable on a rail 5 and serves to hold the separation elements 6 and the drive device 10 with an electric motor 11 and a transmission device 12. The drive device 10 is connected to a first drive element 13 to transmit a force to the rail 5 for driving the carriage 1. The drive device 10 is connected to at least one second drive element 14 to drive the rotatably held separation elements 6.
