PURPOSE: A digital clone generating device and a method thereof are provided to restore deformation of the intrinsic shape of an actor according to a motion of the actor, thereby realistically reproducing actions of the actor. CONSTITUTION: An intrinsic human model generating unit(120) receives a multi-viewpoint image example according to a change of a gesture of an actor. The intrinsic human model generating unit generates a 3D model of the actor through the multi-viewpoint image example. The intrinsic human model generating unit transits a standard human model to the 3D model. The intrinsic human model generating unit generates an intrinsic human model. Deformation of an intrinsic shape is reflected to the intrinsic human model according to a change of the gesture of the actor.

PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display device and a method thereof are provided to synchronize a point which is displayed on a cross section and to display a three-dimensional image. CONSTITUTION: Separate screens of a spiral shape are formed in a cylindrical type. The screens of a spiral shape display an image on a first side. A three-dimensional image controlling unit(150) controls transparency of separate screens based on a display order of a three-dimensional image.

PURPOSE: An image matting apparatus using a multiple camera and an alpha map generating method are provided to control a camera angle of a multiple camera and to generate an alpha map about an image. CONSTITUTION: A depth estimation unit estimates a depth value corresponding to distance between a main camera and a target object. An alpha map estimating unit estimates an alpha map of a main image by using the estimated depth value. An image matting unit(150) extracts a foreground area from the main image.

PURPOSE: A texture generating apparatus of a three-dimensional compensation object and a method thereof are provided to generate a texture of a level and divide a level from various images having respectively different resolutions. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional object compensating unit(50) compensates a three-dimensional object of images. A resolution calculating unit(60) calculates resolution about images. A texture generating unit(80) generates a level texture corresponding to images. Each image is classified according to each level of resolution. A rendering unit(90) selects the texture of the level.

PURPOSE: A compensating apparatus of a camera using multi-view restriction and a method thereof are provided to calculate the entire matrix by using two parallelograms and to increase accuracy of a compensating apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An image receiving unit(110) receives an image which a camera photographs in the same background. A camera compensation unit(120) calculates the entire matrix by using a regular homography of all parallelograms. The camera compensation unit calculates an infinite homography between cameras.

PURPOSE: A mobile multiview image acquisition system and a multiview image pre-processing method are provided to drive an application program with an acquired multiview image. CONSTITUTION: A pre-processor(300) performs the pre-processing of a multiview image. A portable studio(100) comprises an imaging space, a plurality of side cameras, one or more upper side cameras, a side rail, and an upper side camera rail. The plurality of side cameras takes a photograph of the side of a subject. The one or more upper side cameras take a photograph of the upper side of the subject. The side camera rail and the upper side camera rail support the movement of the upper side camera and the side camera in up/down and left/right directions.
