Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide paper machine clothing which has reduced fabric contamination and an improved wipe clean, abrasion resistant surface and can be rapidly produced with a relatively low cost. CONSTITUTION: A sheet of partially fused particles is formed by spreading powder of polyalkenes such as polyethylene and polypropylene, thermoplastic polyurethane, polymer of ethylene/propylene/diene monomer and metallic particles into a layer of a prescribed thickness or into a layer of different size fractions of particles and then heating the layer. Optionally, a sheet formed by spreading fibers having a melting or softening point higher than that of the partially fused particles, a fabric of polyamide bonding fiber or polyethylene/ polypropylene bicomponent fibers or chopped fibers is embedded in the partially fused particles sheet as a reinforcing structure. A fluoropolymer coating or an organically modified ceramic coating is applied on a surface of the sheet and a plurality of grooves are provided on the surface of the sheet working at the machine side of the clothing to form the paper machine clothing.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a fused or laminated belt having improved characteristics in relation to the formation of the mark of a final product by providing a silicate member in a coating layer to mask the interstices of a fabric and preventing the surface shape of a base fabric from appearing on the surface of a belt. CONSTITUTION: A first dip coating step is performed in order to attach an adhesive coat 24 to a base fabric 21 and a mixture is only an adhesive material of polytetrafluoroethylene. The mixture also contains a silicate member for a first dip coating step for forming a coating layer 5 to the support surface of the base fabric and a remaining dip coating step for attaching a coating material to both surfaces of the fabric, that is, a fabric filling step for forming coating layers 26 to both surfaces of the fabric. The silicate member is solid glass beads having a diameter of a single dimension of 53-105 μm, if possible, 90 μm.

The inner layer 24 imparts stability and makes the contact properties with the surface of a roller certain and the outer layer 25 absorbs vibration to reduce the bounding of the roller and the friction of a bearing.
