Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic transmission apparatus for shift-by-wire is provided to perform manipulation to convert a drive mode during travelling easily, by performing conversion of the travelling drive mode by using a tilting manipulation of a gearshift. Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for handling a gearshift of an automatic transmission is provided to nonlinearly shift a gear at a point where the change of the gear is completed by shifting with the transmission lever. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for handling a gearshift of an automatic transmission comprises a gearshift(10), a torsion spring(20), and a torsion spring fixing part(31). An operational protrusion(11) protrudes from one side of the gearshift. The gearshift rotates around the lower part thereof. The torsion spring is formed of one wire. Both ends of the torsion spring are adjacent to or in contact with both sides of the operational protrusion when the gearshift operates in a manual mode. The torsion spring fixing part protrudes from one side of a bracket(30). The middle of the coil spring is wound on the torsion spring fixing part.
