Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form a buffer portion to a corner of a mold frame, thereby preventing the breakdown of the LCD panel due to the impact. A back light unit(300) supplies the light beam. An LCD panel(100) receives the light beam from the back light unit and displays an image. The LCD panel has a cut corner. A mold frame(400) receives the back light unit and the LCD panel. A buffer member(410) corresponding to the cut corners of the LCD panel is formed on the mold frame. The corner of the LCD panel is cut obliquely. The buffer member is formed by a triangular prism shape to the inside of the corner of the mold frame. A portion of the cut surface of the corner is also cut obliquely. The shape of the buffer member corresponds to the shape of the corner of the LCD panel. A corner of the LCD panel is also cut by a circular arc shape.

Abstract: A grayscale voltage generating module, a liquid crystal display having the same and a driving method thereof are provided to facilitate RGB color calibration by applying different grayscale voltages to respective RGB pixels. Abstract: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce power consumption of the LCD device by preventing a source voltage from being supplied to a first gamma generator in an 8-color mode. A liquid crystal display device includes a power source(20), a first gamma voltage generator(30), and a second gamma voltage generator(40). The power source generates various power signals and supplies the power signals to the LCD. The first gamma voltage generator generates a full-color gamma voltage by using the power signal from the power source, in a full-color mode. The second gamma voltage generator outputs one of the power signals from the power source according to polarity of the data in an 8-color mode.
