Abstract: PURPOSE: A coating process having a lay-by line is provided to perform selectively a desired coating process of a vehicle at a coating factory by providing lay-by to an electro coating process line, an intermediate and finishing coating process lines, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A coating process of a coating factor includes an electro coating process line(L1), an intermediate and finishing coating process lines(L2,L3). The electro coating process line is composed of a pretreatment coating(2), an electro coating(3), an electro coating oven(4), a sealer coating(6), a deadener coating(7), and a deadener oven coating(8), and a lay-by line of the electro coating process line is constituted between the electro oven process and the sealer process. The lay-by of the intermediate coating process line is constituted after an intermediate oven coating process before the finishing coating process line. The lay-by of the finishing coating process line is constituted after a finishing oven coating process before proceeding into a test process line.
