    Abstract: PURPOSE: A CTBA(Coupled Torsion Beam Axle) having a revolute joint is provided to give change to a geometry characteristic of a wheel mounting bracket in steering and braking in order that the toe value of a rear wheel induces toe-in by having the revolute joint, thereby improving stability. CONSTITUTION: A CTBA having a revolute joint comprises a torsion beam(11), a trailing arm(12), a wheel mount bracket(14) and a revolute joint(17). The trailing arm is included in both ends of the torsion beam. The wheel mount bracket connects the front side of the trailing arm to the front side of the progress direction of the vehicle by interposing a bush(15) made of rubber material. The rear wheel is mounted at the wheel mount bracket. The revolute joint is installed between the rear end of the wheel mount bracket and the rearward of the trailing arm and connects therebetween.
